a freind of my sister's saw a pic of me and asked for my number. My sister gave it to her and she texted last night at 8.40, but i didn't get in till nine 30 and only phoned back at five to ten ( after debating whether it was too late to call for 15 mins ! ) anyway,the message said nothing but "hi, your sister gave me your number, hope you don't mind me texting" So i phoned back at five to ten but it went on to answer phone, so i left a message saying who i was but i've heard nothing all day and its nearly nine again. For some reason i feel uncomfortable phoning again.Maybe it's because i've never actually heard her speak or maybe i feel it's her turn. So i ask the great yahoo public, do i wait or do i phone and sound desperate ?

today I walked in on 3 work colleagues bitchin/complaining about me. I have never experienced this before, not even in school, let alone as a 30+ proffessional!!! I am not one to back away from a fight and wanted to confront it there and then but just did not have the time...........any suggestions as to what to say when I return to work???

I was with my fiance today (he's a man, I'm a woman) and we started making out. Someone walking by said, "Gross, gay people." and another little boy whispered to his mum, "Mummy, why are two men kissing eachother?"

And another time I was out, someone called me "Pat"...as in Pat, from SNL. The character that you can't tell if it's a man or woman.

Should I be offended? How can I be less man-like?

This is my first year in high school and in a new distrect i have a no one is hurting or making fun of me except for this one kid. He is my highet but he is stronger then me he plays football but i can run faster then him ( i didnt play any sports this year). Well he started messing with me 3wks ago and left me alone untill today he kept making fun of me and me only for no reason i didnt do anything to him he just wanted i told him i would kick his a$s and he said lets fight i said ok and we decided to do it after class in the bathroom. we went thier he punched me first i punched him back we did this back and forth really hurting each other untill he picked me up and slammed me on the ground i got up shook his hand and walked away though their is two problems the first is word is spreeading slow but it is still spreading and second i am really hurt , i have big lump on the side of my head and it hurts when i walk and sit though i dont wanna tell or rat because ill get suspended.

I know what we have is real. She is caught up in some weird spot because of some baggage she has got from past relationships and I'm sure I've got some, too. I know I need to just chill and let things happen but it's so frikkin hard 'cause she shies away everytime we start to get close and has started working a lot. Everytime I am with her I have no doubts about us and want her to feel the same way but know she has to come to that herself. Any advice on keeping myself occupied while she sorts out whatever she needs to? I want her to know I still want her without burying her or ignoring her.

Well, I have this one girl in my college. I really like her but only talked to her couple of times. The thing is that she gives me different signs like seem to look at me but when I look at her (as I can see with corner of my eye) she seem to look on the wall with posters which just right behind me.
Than she seems to give all those signs liken when I talk to her she sometimes look away but still can look into my eyes, get her shoulders up, and smile all the time (very cute but not flirting sort of smile). But she answers very short what could usually mean she doesn't want to talk.
Than when I catch her in corridor she can just run past me and answer me only a few words like "going on chemistry" but than talk to some other guys and stop properly to talk to them a few steps from me.
Do you think she likes me? I thought she is just a shy type of girl.
And I saw her with this guy yesterday walking holding hands and stuff.
