what are some things that have changed with culture and the government since the constitution was created?...for example...it is acceptable to be gay and say it without being socially discriminated or dismissed....or drinking and driving is against the law because the amount of accidents caused by it is hideous!...i hope you understand what im asking...can anyone helppp!?

It all boils down to the fact that the people in the US have taken the position that they are not responsible for anything. They just lack the self disipline that people of old did. It's sad. Not everyone is like this thank GOD.

Before the constitution people were not granted the general rights that are now protected by the constitution. We all have the rights to our own religion and free speech without the worries of being prosecuted.
