She is just interested in watching too much of tv in her free time. Its very tough to motivate her. She has been bit of a slow learner all her life due to a childhood disease, which is now cured. But she gets demotivated very soon and does not have too many friends also. How does one keep her motivation levels up. She also needs very firm handling, otherwise just takes it too easy all the time. I am a working mother and quite worried about her behaviour. Any suggestions? My younger daughter is very independent and any comparison with her or her peer group also makes her very defiant.

Husband hve been cheating (serious affair + online girl friends), so have filed divorce. But hope relationship stay amicable as there is a 1 year old son n we prob will be stying in the same house for the next 9 months. Have told him I know. He have flared up/shut down whenever the subject of affair or divorce is brough up even though he is the one who say he wanted it when I told him I know. He has since prentend nothing has happened and continue to lie /cover up when he go dating etc. He is going on a week end escapade which he cover up as a company outing.

Planning to tell him before that. Should I
1. just inform him I have filed a matter of factly
2. Tell him I have give it some thought and it is best for us to split asap and hence I have filed
3. tell him to go tell his married lover the good news and wish him a happy weekend

any other way to tell?

i just spent 5 days in a crisis center cause i had a bad breakdown. and while i was in there i talked to a shrink about my problems. before i went in there i was smoking pot pretty heavily. and i had done coke for the first time 3 days before that. The shrink diagnosed me as being bi-polar and a hypersexual. what i want to know is, does this mean that i cant have sex or that i just need to control my hormones a little better. and if anyone has any personal experience with these disorders could you give some advice. by the way staying away from the sex seems to be harder than staying away from the pot. please help!!!

Has any of you waited around for your ex., and actually got back together. ?
Has any of you got back together with your ex after 6 months or longer (when the time you two split up she/he wanted nothing to do with you), and actually got back together with in time?

Is it worth the waiting (waiting on true love)?

When they wanted nothing to do with you when they split up and you thought you had lost that person for good, you actually got back together again after a long time?

Guys, I have dated alot and just let them go at times. This time instead of moveing on, I am going to be strong. This one is the Love of my life and I believe is my soul mate.

his birthday is dec. 30th but i want to plan now, let me explain what type of person he is...

amazingly hot
remembers everything ...so inside jokes are in favor

he'll be 15

last year i got him a bottle of whipped cream(inside joke)
and i mixed a cd last year, each song was in relation to an inside joke

He's really into music, he loves ac/dc, system of a down, john mayer, and alot mre...but he already has all their stuff
he loves shirts with clever captions on them and intersting comments
he's one whos into philisophical conversations, he has a big ego, and he has a girlfriend
i want to get something thats really clever and more specail than anyone else's present...something that only he will understand and never forget
somehting thats amazingly wonderful and very clever and interesting
i dont want it to be too pricy, but just metion some things that you would like as a present that had to do with nside jokes, yet still something that you could use and never forget

it seems to me that women believe that in the beginning of a relationship, the can screw a mans brains out but once the I LOVE U's are said then the sex can stop, cuz as women think, "if u love me then sex should not matter", then when a man has had enough of the mind games and either screws around or leaves then its all his fault, and she did nothing wrong. opinions pls male and female

Today my 6 yr old daughter was playing with some neighbor kids, so I went to introduce myself to their mothers. When I walked over they completely ignored me, and just left me standing there like an idiot. Is it just me or are women RUDE. This is not the first time, i've had similar experiences. My Father and Mother got divorced when I was almost two. I don't remember anything about life before the divource, so I'm sort of used to it. I live with my mother, and she is remarried with one boy, and my dad has remarried with one boy too. I have two older sisters. I used to absoultely LOVE going to his house. We would always have fun and go places and meet lots of new people...untill he got married. Since the marrage, my stepmom tries so hard for us to like her, but it makes me dislike her more and more. Even worse, my dad has become an old man! When we're at his house, all he wants to do it spend time watching TV and he goes to bed a7, so we're basiclly up alone all night. i know there is alot of very bad things that my dad did to my mom and us, and that makes me hate him even more. We haven't been to his house in about 3 months, and the last time we did, i cried my eyes out and locked myself in my room. I want to tell my dad that i never want to see him again. HLEP! what do i do?

I've been married for only 6 months; we have a 4 mo old daughter together. I was foolish to believe that he'd change after the baby was born but he hasn't. He has a problem with running away, literally. He did it before I was pregnant, while I was pregnant, and now with a baby at home. My husband didn't come home from work yesterday and won't return my calls or text messages. We had a simple argument. I'm sure he's at his mother's and she encourages him to stay away from me but we have a baby! He doesn't grasp the fact that this isn't high school crap, we're a family now. My problem is, I don't have a job, and I can't stay with him cause he won't change. How do I make it on my own? I can stay with my father while I look for a job but what about my bills and my baby's needs? My husband makes too much to qualify for WIC, or can I do it w/out him? But what about diapers? I just need advice. I know he's not cheating, he just has issues with running away from everything and putting walls up

What is wrong with me? I don't like girls and I don't like guys! What in the heck is wrong with me? I'm not sexually attracted to anything. (For all you sick-o's out there this includes any disgusting sexual things you can think of) Was I born without hormones or something? I soul-searched into all the sexual orientations and got nothing! I mean I'm a 17 year old guy for crying out loud! There has been silence between my ex and I for a couple months now. We have both since moved on. I see him around but I don't say anything because I figure that if he wanted to talk, he'd make the first move. So...do you keep in touch with your ex's or is it just too weird?
