i am still looking and waiting simultaneously...if that makes sense.
i have a story i shall shorten...but it still rings in my memories... my first gf from highschool lived down in south nj. the morning after prom, i went downstairs to see if she was awake, and she was...kinda still half-curled up and half-sitting, in bed... the sun warming on her...it just stopped time for me.
we drove her back down to her house...and i can still smell how her house smelled like the honeysuckle candles her mom was burning. it was a nice may afternoon, and there we stood, in her bedroom, hugging and not wanting to part ways... i'll tell you, it was the oddest feeling of this sadness, and yet being happy and loved, all at once...enough to make any teenager's heart explode. ...heh... i listened to the stone temple pilots "purple album" cd she gave me, all the way home... and when i did get home, i sat around with my guitar and tried to find the most piquant chord that just defined that whole engulfing feeling.... eventually i found it, and it sounded just right (an open G13#11... for all you guitarists out there haha--PLAY FOR YOUR GF's, DAMMIT! hahaha)... even though they weren't soul-mate-revealing moments, back then, they sure felt like it...
::a little sadly nostalgic:: now look what you've done! haha :P

I became friends with the one certain guy I liked, we told each other everything, started going out, realized we loved each other and were ment to be, bam.
