It seems I can never hold on to what I care about most. My boyfriend I loved so much doesn't want to be together anymore and a job I really really wanted didn't hire me. I make friends easily but the people I really want to be friends with don't want to have anything to do with me. What is going on.

ok well there's this guy and we'v liked each other for 3 years
and on sep 2 he asked me out
i said yes
at first he seemed really happy about it and wanted EVERYONE to kno
then it wuz like a ok w/e cool i have a gf type thing
but then i started noticing some stuff between him and his ex gf and ppl started spreadin rumors that he wuz cheating on me and this girl told me that he told his ex he wuz gonna break up with me and he stopped being around me as often and he didnt seem to like me as much anymore so i kinnda freaked.and exactly one week ago..on friday..i broke up with him and he didnt ask for a reason so i didnt give him one and ever since then he's been avoiding me.if he ever sees me in the hallwayz he turns his head and pretends like he doesnt notice
and sometimes he gives me a mad/sad/depresedish look then looks away. i wanna talk to him but itz hard. my friend told me that i broke his heart
and my other friend told me that he told her that he's still in love with me.

Afterall it cost me about $200-$300 and a lot of time on three or four dates before I even get in a woman's pants (the date that is) and there is no guarentees of sex.

On the other hand I spend $200-$300 on an escort and not only do I get sex, but it happens right away ... They can even come to my house.

Also I don't want people going on a STD tangent... you can get STDs from anyone, plus that is just the risk you pay to play the game (The sex game, that is ... in case you are slow in the head)...

and I always use a condoms

Ok so I like this girl from school, But I don't know if she likes me or not. I'm totally open minded about seeing a girl from any race. Unfortunately, my interest has drifted into the most difficult of categories. I'm an Asian male who's currently attracted to white females. I know it all depends on the person, and what they're attracted to. But I just don't want to approach someone and have them think, "Oh he's good in math, is very passive, and messes around on the computer a lot."

My question is in two parts.

1.) You say to a guy "But you pushed me away." and he says "I pushed you away because you were getting close. I pushed you away for your sake. And mostly for my sake as well." - being a girl, I take this as he knew could start to feel something for me but is afriad of getting hurt. BUT it could also be because he didn't want to hurt me. What do you guys think?

2.) I emailed him yesterday and said "If you are thinking about stopping by tomorrow night, let me know." I have gotten no response from him. So, this means a 'no', right?
