I have a few friends that told their mothers they were pregnant, and their mothers were so happy. I feel horrible because my mother will not be happy at all. I will be 24 when my first child is born, my mother will be 46 and this will be her first grandchild. She has told me recently to wait until I am 30 because I am way too young to have a baby.

My husband is 26 and we have been together for 5 years and married for 2. I have a college education, a career, and I own a house that will be paid off in a few months. We are very happy together and plan to start our family no matter what her reaction is.

I am not sure if she feels she is too young to be a grandma or she thinks I will make the same mistakes as her. She had two children by the time she was 21 and was divorced at 23. I am not going to turn out like her, how can I deal with my mother’s reaction?

Also, how did your mother react about your pregnancy?

I need encouragement!

I know I may sound paranoid but My boyfriend always keeps his promises. and we made plans to meet at my house. I live down the street from him so he usually walks. k guys i hung out with my ex last night and he gave me a ride home from the bar, he was just going to take me home and then him go home but my car wasn't at my house and i couldn't drive it to my house in my "condition" so he asked if he could just stay with me. i said sure so when we got there we crawled into bed. well i live with my brother and he came home and ripped my ex out of my bed and hit him in the face so he left... then later he texted me and said- don't worry he's just being a brother, tell him i'm sorry for putting him in that situation- so i appologized and he said we could go to lunch on monday, and then it'd be even and i asked how and he said we'll talk more about it monday- so guys, does this appear that we're on the way to get back together? insight thoughts oppinioins.... anything? seriously?

I just saw my x-boyfriend while I was with some friends. We broke up because he moved across the country, and we didn't think we'd be able to keep up in our relationship. Ok so I like this girl from school, But I don't know if she likes me or not.
