I have £50 to buy my friend and coworker a gift on behalf of all the staff in the office. As you can gather, she is rather fussy. She also doesn't wear jewellery or perfume, and doesn't like meals out...

Something you made yourself probably: speech? Sewn cushion?

If all fails: fluffy slippers, foot massager (as a group present), warm socks, modestly funny novelty, scarf, woolly hat or anything else that is warm and comfortable (for some reason that never fails).

The point you are trying to make is that you miss her and will always remember her. As long as she gets the message, no matter what gift you give her, she should appreciate it.

A card telling how you felt it was a pleashure working with her and should she be back this way to be sure and stop-by so you can get together and have scrap paper to exchange new address's or E-mails and take it slow or keep things to small type question's an later on ask if she coming home or so for a visit or should you take a friend her way for a visit some weekend if she has been friendly enough!

Some sort of gift basket? Because she is a co worker, soaps/perfumes could be seen as a little personal, so not those. Fruit, Cheese, Flower arangements, books, journals. Lots ofother things out there.

Flowers are a good option, but they won't last very long so how about something she can keep like a new scarf? A handbag? Or even a watch? It doesn't have to be too fancy, and it'd always remind her of that particular workplace.

You could always opt for a really nice photograph frame with a picture of all the staff in your team. This would serve as a nice keepsake for the time you all worked together and would be much appreciated I'm sure.

hmmmm if youre a talented artist or woodworker or something like that you could make her something meaningful or you could buy her jewelry or you could all put your money together and buy ehr a laptop and tell ehr she needs a myspace so you can all keep in touch.

Most of all I would suggest a scrapbook though. All get together and make her one of the good times, bad times, and individual pg's of all of you and a few of her.
