Does not look that way... Is marriage just a religious institution that is absolete?

I am married 3 years and we have a baby boy. I have an older son whom I raised & supported by myself as his dad was cheating with a stripper & I divorced him when was a year old. I always worked, payed the bills, took good care of my son & his dad moved to another state never to be seen or heard from again. I know the heartache of raising a little boy alone & I don't want to repeat that with this baby. My husband lies all the time now. He will not let me handle the finances. I am not working now because I have epilepsy & my seizures have been terrible for the past year. Husband has 13 years of sobriety in AA & goes to all these speaking engagements to talk about himself & tell others how to live & everyone claps for him. Meanwhile, he is not paying the bills or paying them when shut-off notice comes, spends a fortune on the lottery. The house we are renting was sold & we will have to move, he says nothing to worry about. I am sick with worry, need advice please.

I always thought of myself as something of a reinaissance man (enjoys culture, art, classical music, jazz, good food, fine wine, intellectual conversations). I honestly don't give a hoot about professional sports, although I do like physically strenuous outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking and jogging. What do you think? Is that the kind of guy you'd like, or do you like the macho/bad boy/ tough guy types, the nerdy/geeky types, or the jock/prep/all American boy types?

hi. im just interested - as i consider myself a kind/genuine/reliable guy, who wouldnt hurt a fly, who is easy going but kinda shy and i dont seem to be that successful with women (well successful full stop really) i consider myself ok/good looking. i just wondered what women look for in blokes. truthful answers please - as you always tend to say kind caring etc, but i reality i think this is bull sh*t tbh. some of the prettiest women seem to be going out with the ugliest, unkind and untrustworthy men. does this really turn women on? any insight is appreciated as it may help me and i genuinely find it an interesting subject .

OK, I have never dated before this boy.

He now wants to break up with me because of some stupid rumor he hears and believes that is currently going around the school. I don't want a guy like that anyways.

Well, this boy gave me a gift - a gold necklace.

If he breaks up with me.. or I break up with him whichever, what on earth do I do with the necklace?

Clueless person here.

There's this guy on my swim team who's two years older than me. I'm a freshman and he's a junior. He's offered me rides many times and stayed with me while I was waiting for my ride once although my coach was still there waiting with me also. Once at a swim meet, he kept bringing up guys who are on the team and asking if I liked any one of them. He gives me compliments about things and when this other girl on my swim team asked him to go with her to homecoming as friends he said yes. When she was telling me about it. He came up and jokingly asked me if I was jealous. I think it's over a 6 month period that he did all this. At homecoming he complimented me on how I looked and asked if I came with a date. He asked me about the guys I danced with and why I danced with those guys. I like him although I don't show it at all and I know he's nice to everyone. I'm really sorry, I just posted this question. But, at homecoming I had to ask HIM to dance and then we slow danced. He didn't ask me.

Okay, I am not only blaming the hoe, but of course my boyfriend too.
But listen, I told this girl THREE times what the deal was, she even SAW me with my boyfriend and yet she does not give a CRAP whether she is the sloppy seconds or a straight up nasty WHORE!
What is UP with these B&%#$*!
For real. I know I should straight up leave him, but I have been with him for 6 years! Its so hard to just get up and leave, we have a life and home together!
I do not know what to do with this girl. She is CRAZY and a STALKER.

My wife and I are hoping to have our first baby soon.

My mother-in-law has asked to be our child's nanny part time while my wife is working. (She is highly qualified with a college degree in child development and experience.)

My mother asked to live with us and in exchange nanny for us, and we said no and explained that my wife's mother had agreed to being nanny first.

My own mother is jealous of this idea and feels she would need more time with our child than once a week.

We don't care if my wife's parents see our child everyday because they are good people, but my mother is a difficult and bitter person.

We really don't want to be around my mother more than a few times a month.

Both of our families live within 10 minutes of us.

How do we deal with my mother and how much time should she spend with our child? I am the only child, so this will be her only grandchild.

... where you sit down to use the rest room but check under the seat to make sure there are no spiders or other creepy insects lurking there...

... perhaps you may even suspect a rat could come up from behind you (through the pipes) and surprise you?

Every time... I think about that. How can I get over it?
