We have a 16 year old who has a hard time getting up for school. (Who doesn't have a hard time at that age, gezz). Question is: Parents: do you wake up your kids or do you make them do it on their own? Sometimes it's tempting to just let them be late for school and deal with it.
Teens: do / did you get up on your own or does someone help?

I am having a bit of a problem with a woman that I am dating. I am 24 and she is 31, which is not the problem. The problem is that we both have had some hurts in our past that make it hard to be in relationships with others. The issue in this case is that every time we start to get close (emotionally) she reaches a certain point and then backs off. This happens over and over, and we are not making any progress beyond a certain point. I am not sure that I can take this back and forth all the time, and I am wondering if I should stay in the pocket or bail out.

Ok...I'm a 23 year old Persian girl, whose 5'1", with a cute figure, pretty face, big brown eyes, cute smile and really nice 36D boobs (If that sounds cocky, I swear I'm not trying to be)...when I'm alone with some guy that I don't know, like on an elevator, I'm constantly trying to imagine what the guy is thinking. I think marriage is definitely a must in order for me to leave life as I know it. But I still worry that if I change my life to better fit into my mate's life that I will lose my independence. He is more affluent and owns a home and business in his town. I have a good job but financially, I'm not rolling in "dough". I rent. I would have to withdraw my children from school at some point. How have other women dealt with this kind of situation? FYI, both me and my guy are divorced and in our mid to late 30s. We both have been alone for a while and things are moving kind of fast. We both feel like life is short and we want to share ours with each other.
