My ex and I broke up last month. We were together for two years. We started talking again and he says he still loves me. I'm not sure if I do or if I am in love with him anymore. How does one know if you love someone? What questions should I be asking myself?

First one is... Why did this end in the first place, Why am I hesitate to be with him now, there has to be some reason you are not back in his arms, very good question. Just stop and look from the outside, is this something I want in my life, is he a man that could provide for a family I may someday want. Ask all this. And let me tell you something my mom always told me....
Never date a guy you would not marry, there is no point!
And that is true, trust your gut feelings on this.

Think about what made you break up in the first place. Based on that see if you can overcome it because as time passes we are suppose to become wiser.
I can't tell you if you still love him. But the may idea you are here asking this questions shows that some feelings are starting to rear there head again. Just remember to take it slow this time.

how did you feel when you were not together?, free as a bird doing your own thing not checking in being able to go whereever.then you liked being alone.or was you month HELL, everyday you did not want to wake up and get out of bed and there is nothing that you wanted to do just to see him.also ask yourself what were the reasons why you both broke up and what did he put you through.before anything meet up and talk a couple of times before making a decision.

Can I stay faithful? Will I think of other people? Can I commit myself again to this person? Are the problems I had before with him gone? Try those

When you were w/ him, did he make you feel happy? If you had to move out of state, could you live w/o him? would you do anything for him? if you leave him, would you still dream about him? Does he still give you butterflies when you see him sometimes? How much time have you invested in that relationship?

one big question -- why did we split up if it was something small ok but if you split up for a real reason dont bother trying again as you will always come across that same problem again and agian
