I'm having dinner with agirl I like a lot tomorrow night. It will be our second time out together. I need to be sure she understands that we're not doing this a "friends."

Background: Met her through work but we don't work "together." We may work together in the future. A couple months ago she had surgery and I bought her flowers and included a card saying I wanted to take her out. It took me two months to grow the balls to follow up with an official "do you want to go out" butwe finally did last week. Now, our second "date" is coming up tomorrow.

The thing is, she's gorgeous and can be with any guy she wants. I know she is dating other guys. However, she doesn't want to be another notch in some guy's belt and that's not what I am looking for. I want to somehow put the ball in her court. I have asked her out and taken her out, but now I want her to tell me how she feels about me. How can I draw this out of her?

Since my divorce, i have met and dated several woman. Although they stay attracted to me, it seems like they all also appear to use me for my kindness and it feels like i am being taking advantage of because of my kindness. I have allowed a woman and her three kids to move in with me, and she claims to love me alot, but wont work to help me out with the bills. And even though she claims yo love me, doesnt show me much attention, and i always find her trying to get attention from every other man that she see's. She continually is pushing the Marriage thing on me, and i dont want to get married to her because she is very snoopy, always sneaking behind my back while i am at work, and looking through my personnal things, and even opening my mail and then glueing it back together acting as if she dont do these things to me, But infact always is.
Please all you woman out there, i dont want to hurt her feelings but i am not altogether happy, and i really want and need to be, what should ?

Hey I’ll be starting college in a few days and I just moved into a dorm. I don’t know anyone in this city and I’m wondering if anyone has some useful tips. I’m one of those people who doesn’t make friends very easily. It’s not that I’m unattractive, rude or some freak. I just have a hard time being myself around new people. It’s almost like I don’t know how to act, and it’s not that I even WANT to “act” a certain way, I can’t help it. I’ve been home schooled, and yes I know people, but I pretty much had one really close friend, other then family. When I’m around her I can talk about anything (the guys we date, people, etc.), and I’m totally myself. She just moved to a different state and it’s hard enough with her gone let alone all the new pressures around me. Just so some of you can get a better idea of me, most people would say I’m rich, pretty, and snobby. I think my thing is I make myself seem above people because I’m scared of what they will really think if they see what I’m like. I know my last statement about me sounds rather vane, but I don’t mean for it to. People say it, that’s all. And yes people say I’m beautiful, blah blah blah, all that stuff but I think the thing about me is I’m just scared they will think differently if they would really see what I’m like... I prefer to stay in my little cocoon and feel like people think I’m some perfect little snob. I’m not saying I am, or even if people really think that, like I said, “prefer to THINK that” but it doesn’t mean it’s true, or even that I believe it is. sorry I’m repeating myself but I want to get my point across.
Anyway if you have any helpful things to say I’ll be glad to hear it. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE MANY SELF-RIGHTEOUS SNOBS ON HERE WHO ARE ABOVE EVERYONE AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS “BE YOURSELF” ETC. I DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT. I’M SORRY BUT I DON’T SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO JUST “BE MYSELF”, WELL GUESS WHAT? I DON’T CHOOSE TO BECOME A SCARED LITTLE SNOB WHO DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO ACT. TRUST ME, IF I COULD I ‘DD BE PRETTY GLAD CONSIDERING I WOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH A LOT LESS. BUT MAYBE THE FACT THAT SOME PEOPLE AREN’T LITTLE SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES IS BEYOND YOU.
