I said "mostly sisters" which implies that he had more sisters than brothers. Therefore he had at least one brother...

I think a major advantage is that men who grow up amongst females tend to be a lot more in tune with their feminine side. They're usually more in touch with their emotions than the average male and tend not to be overly aggressive in demeanor.

I guess the disadvantage would be that some males in this situation become a little 'too' in tune with their feminine side and may have you missing some of the typical 'manly machoness' often associated with being a 'real' man. If you're not for this type, a guy like this may come across as too soft for your needs.

Everyone is different however. What applies to one may not necessarily apply to all. So someone who was raised primarily amongst women may have a nice balance of the appreciated aspects of the typical man---but attractively smoothed out by his first hand exposure to the female sex :).

As a man who grew up around a mother, sister and their female freinds since dad traveled a lot on buisness, I can answer this one with extreme confidence. A guy who has a lot of sisters or female influence in their upbringing tend to be more gentle and kind around women when they get older. They learn how to be a gentleman and know what makes girls tick.

I used to think that being raised around a bunch of women and girls I would have a leg up on the dating game. Being single and 36, I now think it was a bad disadvatage. Even though I was taught to be kind, respectful and gentle around the ladies, I was never taught how to be romantic towards them. I had to learn the hard way that being nice to a woman is not the same as being romantic and charming towards them.

Sister's are great because it gets guys used to dealing with girls. The problem is that he may not have a lot of male influence, so he may not be very masculine. This may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your personal preference. A lot of women like men who are in touch with their feminine side.

Men who grow up with sisters are usually very easy in women's company. They understand women's whims and moods, etc., in other words women are not a mystery to them, so they're easy to get on with. On the other side of the coin, it may be that the sisters in their life adored this brother and worshipped the ground he walked on! In which case, he will expect the same sort of treatment from a partner. A lot depends too, on his position in the family. You just need to get to know the person concerned, spend time with him in the company of his family and observe how he interracts with them. (Much the same as in any other relationship I guess!).

These kind of guys are good with females because they've spent their entire lives with them. That said, having a girlfriend is a different thing than having a sister so although he might have learned about girls' periods, mood swings, chocolate cravings...a girlfriend might be a whole new game for him.

Yes there will be a difference
Generally such guys are very caring which is an advantage but sometimes they tend to be too protective which may become annoying.

My brother grew up with three sisters and he treats girls like princesses hence my question about girls treating him bad. Be nice to him because sisters are very protective of their only brother.

A guy who has sisters understands women better. The drawback is that you can not play the headgames with him that women like to play- he already knows them!

I think it would be an advantage as he would be in touch with his feminine side.

He'll understand when its "that time of the month" And should be understanding and sympathetic.

(DOES SUCH A MAN EXIST????)
