This girl and i were talking a while back ago,bout 4 months ago. Then there was tension and we stopped chatting, all summer too. Then a few nights ago we talked on the phone about an hour bringing back old memories. The convos we had on the phone months ago would end with a sweet,"I'll call you tomorrow in the morning." This phone call that took place last night consisted of apologies on both our sides and luckly that ended the tension. At the end of the convo there was a long pause as if we were hoping someone would say, "ill you tomorrow." but instead after the pause a "goodnight" was uttered.Last night I text'd her saying, "Hi. It was nice talking to you.Hopefully we're on better ground now." She responded saying, "It was nice talking to you too. We are okay now." -Obviously I want this to situation to continue yet I'm not sure how to go about it. I cant be all like, "You wanna go out on a date?" but rather I feel i need to somehow get back into her life as I do still like her. How?

My husband is still friends with his ex-girlfriend. I don't have a problem with that; I think she's a nice girl. However, I don't really feel comfortable hanging out with her when we're in a group of people. It just feels sort of awkard and I find that I don't have much to say to her.

I'm not threatened by her in any way, but I think that if I said to my husband, "Hey, why don't you and John (my ex) hang out? It would be fun." he wouldn't really like that. I don't have many female friends here and he suggested that I hang out with her. I don't want to insult either of them, but I'm not interested in becoming friends with her at all. How do I tell them no thanks?
