Ooh! I'm in a simmerlar situation. I am the freshman, and he's a Sophmore in band, we're both really shy, I've talked to him once, and I was forced to invite him to a movie. [I really didn't want to ask him though... Not this soon!] I doubt that I have a chance though. All I can say is, talk to him, take some pressure off your shoulders. Who knows what will happen. you definatley have a chance! Just bcuz your a freshman doesn't mean he wont date you. when i was a freshman i had a junior for a bf, and a sophmore, and a senior. so it doens't matter the grade just the maturity level.

not unusal at all, the question is do you actaully know him, or do you just sit there looking at him at lunch everyday!? because then you have no chance at either a friendship or relationship.
