from experience, i can tell you with very much confidence that the answer is no. at 12 years of age, you should just have fun. it's okay to make friends with girls but it's not time for a relationship yet. i have never seen a junior high relationship last for over a month.

well you know what, i had my first boyfriend at age 11 because it was my choice. Now if u really want a girlfriend its ur choice. Whenever you are ready then try it. Dont let others tell you when u can have a girlfriend

im 14 and i dont want any boy touching me i have pleanty of friends and some are guys but i would not go out with them i mean think about it your not going to spend the rest of your life with them and if they were you friend then your friendships over if you brake up thats what happens most of the time the time i think that yes you are to young you really should wait till your like i dont know 16 thats what im guna do!

As a rule, no. Neither girls nor guys are mature enough to date at that age for the most part. All it does is get your emotions all tangled up in a time that is hard enough in general!
Also, would it really be all that fun to say, "Mom, can you drive me and my girlfriend on our date?" My rule was always wait until at least one of you can drive and one of you is close to that age.

If thats what you like then yea why not. the only thing you might take into consideration is your family. will they approve or not? those are the people you may have problems with. But i rather you be with a girl than a boy..Good Luck

You should really wait a year or two. It's a lot of work to have a girlfriend. Just hang out and wait a while.

I'm 12 too and i think its ok to have a boyfriend..well in my case..u have a girlfriend lol dont have a boyfriend cuz that wouldnt be right haha

yes but it might not go to good. I my school we got players that go out with tons of girls. Lots of ex girlfriends you know. Im 12 too and i never had a girlfriend. They told me to get one till college or high school.
