I am an engg.4th year student n have got a job too.I love with a person who is 35 yr old ,i am 25 yr old.he loves me very much but he is not in favour that i do job.he says that for doing job we have to live separately and that he dont want.he has his own buisness and he says that if you want to do anything ...you can help me in my buisness.but i dont like to do that.At the same time my parents are not agree for our marriage so i have to revolt against them too and that is very difficult for me, i love them so much. One more problem is that he lives with a big family and i want to live with him alone.I am not against his family but i dont like to live with so many people.? i know that he loves me very much and not marrying with any other girl even after very much pressure from his family and his society.He is in mid thirties so he want to marry as soon as possible..but his conditions are that i wont do job and live with his whole combined family.Now suggest me what should i do...

because my last idea was bad is this better for asking a girl to homecoming. i meet up with her somewhere and b4 she gets there i have a boquet of flowers and take one out then but down the flowers and a note that says "There is one flower missing, who ever has that flower wants to go to homecoming with u keep walking to find out who it is..." then i am holding the other flower. if u like this idea then also tell me what kind of flowers to buy aswell. thanks

How can I find out how my friend feels about me without making the situation too awkward? Mind you that I am very, and I mean very, shy when it comes to women. We are very good friends and have been for years now. I love hanging out with her and just talking to her. It makes my day just hearing her voice. I know her entire family because they are like family to me. I treat her sisters kind of like my sisters.

The girl is a very close friend who I know through family. She is three years younger than me. Is there anything I can do or say, without making the situation awkward, to see how she feels about me?

Recently I asked her to hang out with me. Just the two of us. We had fun, but I did notice that she was pretty quiet most of the night. I know I didn't help the situation by doing the same. Is there something wrong or am I just looking to deep into it. Any advice would be appreciated. Particularly from a girl or women.

My nephew/godchild just turned 13 years old this year. His parents have not celebrated his birthday since he was a little boy (i.e., age 5). I cannot understand the reason for this, and when I have tried to discuss the importance of this with my brother, he becomes irrate and tells me, basically, to MYOB! I do know that this hurts my nephew because he has told me each year, until this year, when he just said, "I don't care." I am disabled and living below poverty level, but last year, I planned a surprise birthday party for my nephew. At the last minute, my brother intervened, changed all of my plans, and had the party himself. He invited all of his friends and their kids. The party I planned for months was not good enough, according to him-he could buy more/better food, drinks, he had a big house (mine was going to be outdoors because I live in an apt. complex. My brother and his wife are very well off so this is not the reason. What effect do you think this has on my nephew? Thanks!

I was inspired by The Father Christmas Letters by JRR Tolkien, in which he wrote to his children as Father Christmas. I think in this modern world, Father Christmas should have a website and be in step with modern tech. Therefore I want to create a site for him, with features like a banner that changes every few seconds, showing which toy is being worked on by elves; giving daily updates on life at the north pole, and for kids to send letters to Santa. I'll keep my answers posted on the site, won't collect any personal details, and won't be too specific - I don't want to clash with all the answers parents give their kids. My question is, do you think it will bring any Christmas magic to kids, and do you think parents will be angry at me, fearful I am evil or something? I love Christmas and the magic of Father Christmas and stuff, but I'm 24 and I'm too old. I want to get involved this year, and I do web stuff... So I thought maybe a santa site. What do you think?
