my cousin has a guy that she lives with & right now she's going through terrible fianancial times. she's a writer & wrote a book that did pretty good five years ago & she's been living off that money while working on her new book, well the guy she's with lives off her and it was fine when she could afford it but now she's ill & her book is being delayed so they are opperating on very little & she is so bad worrying about money, paying bills & being sick that it's making her even more sick. I went to visit to loan her some floating cash last week, not only did she look like life was being drained from her but he was there just sitting in their bedroom watching tv, she stays in her office 18 hours a day writing and trying to find other ways to generate income but he watches tv all day! i brought this up to her and she says that "he can't work and doesnt know how" because his mom screwed him up and it's not his fault but if he loved her how could he see what I saw and just sit watching tv

I asked this question yesterday, but I still need help!

Over the past two yrs I have developed a shyness where I ignore people who aren't my friends not because I don't like them but because I don't want to embarrass myself or something....I don't smile at my classmates unless I know them personally... if I make eye contact within someone I'm not friends with I automatically assume the person doesn't like me and I cut my eyes away from them...I'm sure people think I'm a ***** or a snot, but I'm rly not...its just that I've developed this shyness I guess and I start to act conceited.. idk how to be natural anymore...I used to be so nice and now I'm mean & rude to ppl even though inside I do want to know them...I'm not like a loser or anything, I just have this weird shyness that's hard to get rid of...

What should I do???

i had a friend in eigth grade who wanted to get her ears pierced, but her mother wouldn't allow it. i had my ears pierced when i was a little baby by my own mother. i think this may be a cultural difference, seeing as how i'm hispanic and she's white. is it cultural or is it just a family thing?

In-laws won't offer to help around the house - they pay little to nothing for rent. They moved in to "pay off credit card debt" but now are taking advantage of us. Husband has to be told to speak up or else it won't get done. I feel it is my husband's place to stand up and take charge since it is his father that lives with us and because he is the man of the house. I'm pulling my hair out and want to leave. Am I wrong for wanting out? I feel that I always take care of everything and that my husband has to be told - like a little boy. I need advice on how to handle this! Should I get a divorce and start over? I'm 33, no children. We've talked about this issue until I am blue in the face and nothing ever gets resolved! We've been together (meaning us and his family) for almost 10 years! What should I do?

I broke up with my b/f of 1 year about 2days ago for getting online and "talking" to other girls. We have been talking since then and I still love him and want to be together and it is killing me inside. I am not sure if i should give it another chance even though i know he isn't going to change. He gets online and talks to other girls and then calls them and yeah i don't know what else! But he does call them girls baby and sweetie and it makes me feel bad like he is cheating in an odd way. Tonight I'm babysitting the girl across my street, she's about 8 years old, and her grandmother just died very suddenly. I feel terrible for her mother, but I don't know if it would be cruel for a teenager to tell her that I feel very sorry for her loss. Is that impolite?
