My mother always says that I never come visit her, but I do take care of business for her once a month. Sometimes my sister or cousin will go and take care of things for her. My mother emotionally and mental abused me when I was younger and I treated her like a queen. When I do go see her, she always talks about negative things. Then she will get to a point where she will start putting me down. That is why I harlldy ever go to see her for more than a an hour, if that. I do talk to her on the phone and it's always alot of negative talk or what she wants me to do for her. I don't have a car and I have three children, ages 4, 6, and 15. So I'm quite busy. Do you think I'm wrong for keeping my distance? She does come over my house for holidays, like Christmas and Thanksgiving.

My sister still lives at home with my parents has a 3 yr old son (that my parents take care of) she is very disrespectful at times and has not worked for at least nine months. My parents are always complaining to me about her, but yet they won't kick her out because they are afraid she won't take care of my nephew and they won't take him away from her, because they don't want to hurt her. But my mother gets real depressed because she can't do anything because she basically has to take care of my sister and her son. What do I do, I love all of them but I am so frustrated

I was tring to break up with with this guy that I didn't want to marry. During that time I met the guy of my dreams and started dating him. I finally ended it with 1st guy but then the 2nd guy found out and cheated on me with his ex gf. we got back 2gether and we decided to have a baby. While I was pregnant things were up and down. He'd strted cheating on me with the ex, again. I never went back to my ex. I was in love with my baby's daddy.I was hurt. so when he got back with me I went out w/guys from work and took one home with me to hang out.(this was two years after i had the baby) My boyfriend walked in and was furious with good reason. I was trying to get back at him. Dummy me! now I feel I lost him forever. Could we ever really trust each other again? He said he loves me but now he's moved in with another girl completely different. I'm in coucling now trying to pick up the pieces of this mess we both made together. I met my lover online. Wasn't even really looking to meeting anyone and just picked him to talk to out of hundreds. We met and have been together for along time. He is married, so nothing can come out of it, but he is the best lover I have had and it's like he can read my mind when it comes to pleasing me. My hubby always tells people(usually his family)that I said they told me things they didn't.He does it at family gatherings,his family probably thinks I'm a liar.We'll argue in front of them about whether I said it or not until someone changes the subject....leaving me feeling akward and like the "odd one out" which I already do 'cause I'm the only black person there.Later on,he'll admit That his memory's bad or that he was confused and I didn't say it .This happens so often,I'm beginning to speculate whether or not this behavior is purposeful.....Why would he want to make me look like a liar in front of my in laws??

I've been married Ten years, with him 13. We've had a bumpy but faithful and loving marraige. W ehave 2 great kids. But he says he feels that I think he's a loser and that i settled for him. I never give that indication. I don't know what to say anymore. I can give advice to anyone but myself.
