You don't get over a best friend that is moving....you stay in touch with them through phone calls, email, letters and visiting! Been there many times!

time and space mean nothing to a true friendship. Nowadays, everywhere is so close. Take it as an incentive to do well in school, make a lot of money and be able to travel to your friend frequently. Make lots of phone calls, emails and letters. My best friend lives far away and it makes us have to care that much more to keep in contact.

It'll hurt for a while, but you'll have to take time to heal. Try to keep in touch as much as you can. Also, it's time to branch out and make new friends.

You stay in touch, and once they are gone, you go to a lot of social activities until you make some new friends for yourself.
