me and my husband had a few months where we werent getting on and we separated for a while. now we are back together and everything is much more calmer and we are really happy. but i cant help feeling sad about the time we were separated and it makes me cry to think that my husband was without me. i keep thinking all kinds of things. my husband never slept with anyone else as he would cry himself to sleep every night. but i cant accept he might have flirted or talked to other women. im so happy to be back with my husband but how can i stop myself feeling sad and move on with the future?

I am in love with a married man. Why is it so hard to accept that a married man could love me back. Why does the marriage vows make it impossible for a man/woman to realise they have never really experienced real love before? Why is it so wrong for two people to find love outside of the marriage vows? I dont believe everyone who reads this believes strongly in Christian beliefs, yet that is what the marriage vows are all about...the Bible and its beliefs. I dont want to hear santimonous answers...I want to hear from real people, who understand about "real" life, not the expectations the Bible puts on us. I hate being judged, yet I am loving a married man and he is loving me...do we ignore our happiness and do what others expect of us?....Is responsiblity about others happiness more imporantt than our own happiness? Please spare me quotes from the scriptures..I need to hear from people who are living in the here and the now.

how do you get your boyfriend to..want to be with you more and want ya more??..because me and my boyfriend have been having little issues...since we just had a baby and all yeah we are both 17 well he's going to be in november...im just 4months older then him..but yeahhh we rarely get to spend anytime together because we both dont drive yet but i will be soon ...but yeahh we dont get to either because he has soccer and is trying his hardest to get a scholarship...because he is capable of geting one...and he has been busy helping his uncle or his dad's friends in order to get money..yeahh so i was also wondering what do ya think we should do to make time to spend with eachother more??..and how can i get him to be the way he use to be around me without trying so hard and being annoying...yeahh i just need some advice...o just to let ya all know im still in highschool and this is my last year..iam not a drop out!..the school just gave me home school until october since i just had the baby

I think the reason why there is a double standard is less oppressive and more biological.

Women get pregnant, and men don't. Women always know who their children are, and men don't.

It's logical that a virgin woman would be more likely to have the children of the man she married, rather than trick her husband into raising the mailman's kids!

Also, I think that WOMEN are more attracted to men who have had more sex, in general. Whether that's because they want the alpha male genes, or the envy of all the women around them.
I guess my point is that any woman who complains about the double virginity standard had better like men who get none!
