Don't do the buttox-out hug.. that just makes you look rediculous and make them feel uncomfotrable...

Well, maybe when you feel that she's going to wlecome and appreciate a hug, then just gently pull her into your embrace. If she likes you, she'll like it. =)
Just don't suffocate her.
