Because it such a waste of emotion. You'll be sent to Iraq/middle East very soon and comes back dead. So, might as well look for civilian with more stable future. Hahahahah... sorry mate!

Because they're never home and are at risk all the time. Sure the uniform thing and how hot and fit they are would be fun for a while, but you want someone who will be by your side most of the time, not in another country in danger
