My sister enjoys playing with Barbies, watching baby T.V. shows (the ones for REALLY little kids - filled with singing and other babyish things like "Let's turn off the lights so we can dance with our shadows!"). This sounds completely normal for a kid of 6 or 7, right? But my sister is going into grade 7 and she'll be turning 12 in a few weeks. Somebody please tell me this isn't normal.

Other than the dolls and the T.V. shows, she's pretty much like every other 12 year old girl. It just kills me inside to hear her yelling the names of various shapes along with the hosts of her favourite show at the moment, "Hi-5."

I can't be the only person who finds this creepy. I've talked to my mom about it and she isn't too bothered by it, and I really want a second opinion. Someone please tell me this isn't normal behaviour for a 12 year old girl! Any help would be much appreciated.

I bought a R wedding cake topper from the knot for $24.00 and it looks like a piece of junk. It's terrible! It's so cheap looking, it makes walmart wood letters look nicer. My soon to be husband was very excited to have a big R on the cake for his last name. I was wondering did anyone know a good place or website that sell intial cake topper other then theknot.com? Worst comes to worst I could go to the craft store and make something but right now I was looking for something I could just buy. My FI doesn't ask for much and he's even going along with wearing a little bit of pink so I would like to get him the R cake topper! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! This is the one I bought- but when you get it, it looks like a crappy piece of bent metal... you would never believe it!!

It seems many ladies (NOT ALL!!!) on here (and certainly some I know) have a preconceived check list of what their man should be, height, weight, c*ck size, hair colour, eye colour, car, job, and the list goes on.... it seems as if they can't tick the boxes, they are not interested, setting themselves up for failure every time.

It seems that men's expectations are far more realistic.

Or am I just getting this wrong?

I have confronted my boyfriend three times after catching him taking pills and coke on nights out. Each time I confront him he says he will never do it again. We have been together for nearly 2 years and although he is normally very loving and caring, it upsets me that once he has admitted doing it, he makes no attempt to regain my trust or apologise for lying to me and carries on as though nothing has happened. I have a very close friend who has recently started using cocaine.He says he does not use a lot,I am overworried, but I think he should stay away from it. People at his work do it at parties; he does it less tham most, but he is doing enough to worry me. Anybody with first-hand experience have a perspectived they would like to share?
