i want to find my father to get back pay for child support. he owes like $20,000 and i really need it now because i will be in college in the fall of '07. i only know his name and age. he didnt sign my birth certificate and i have no idea where he lives. he was ordered to pay child support but somehow the money stopped coming like 10 yrs ago. another question is how can he just stop paying and not go to jail or something?

when i say best i mean in the sense of to where they don't go crazy and do something stupid...

the reason i say that is because for all of you that saw my question about this guy, he's pretty much put it out there that if i leave him he will kill him self, but outside of that he's become so much of a dependant on me that i feel bad about how he will feel when i do leave him, i'm friggin nuts right?

i pity him and his whole script so much that i feel like responsible for how his life turns out and this "captain save-a-him" **** is wearing on me, has anyone out there ever gotten into this kind of crap and made it out alive?

I have always been told to do what makes me happy. So I thought I would try it. I was miserable in a marriage, being with someone I didn't really know. It had been that way for 10 years, and I couldn't take it any longer. I moved out, and becasue I have alienated everyone else around me - including my oldest daughter and her grandmother, who I lived with for a short time - I have nowhere to go and feel like I am wanted. Life feels like it is falling apart, all because I tried to figure out what happiness was. Is happiness when you don't have a reason to frown? Is happiness just when you don't want to play in traffic? Is happiness just the opposite of sorrow, and nothing more?

Although I'm 41 most people think I'm 30ish and because of that most men that ask me out arrange in age from 28 to 35. The problem is my children are 21 and 19.(Both boys and in college) They hate that I keep getting asked out by such younger men. Personally I'm flattered. What do you all think?

I have been seeing a great guy for a bit now. He's kind, sincere, and I am very attracted to him. I am in my mid-twenties, and am a widowed single mom. I'm not in a place where i want to date for the fun of it-- I'm looking for a relationship that has the potential to be long term. I think this guy is great-- we have physical chemistry, we communicate well, and he adores my 5 yr old son, (although I do not allow them to spend much time together, and my son is not aware that it's a dating realtionship) His family loves me too. BUT, he's Catholic, and has even attended a Catholic university.... I'm pretty liberal myself, and I have no fixed religion. I couldn't see myself practicing his religion, but I'm not offended by it. I am not in support of the war efforts-- although I'm not strongly against it...He actually would like to apply to be an officer....
Are we too different? Other than religion and politics, we share the same views on family, committment, humor and all else.....

Any of you have ideas on a VERY low budget wedding. My fiancé and I would like to get married October 21 of this year and our families are not really going to help out financially. I've been dating a woman for a year and a half. I'm absolutely in love with her. We live together and go out on dates often however tonight is the night we've termed "date night" as we go to the movies almost every Tuesday, it's dollar night.
