I got called honey twice today by complete strangers. I have no idea if they meant it, or if I know them from a previous life.

"Hon" is quite a normal, everyday saying in Baltimore. I think it originated from Cafe Hon where they still wear Beehive Wigs and the food is average.

I understand what she's saying she's asking does your husband still call you sweet names I've been married to my husband for 4 years and he still calls me honey, sweety, baby, and I call him sweet names too if he doesn't do it as much it doesn't mean he didn't mean it then I think a man slows down on those sweet names because maybe the woman doesn't call him sweet names men like to be baby too just try it with him and see what happens

I can't stand that term..uh! it's like it's a forced label on a person. can't people be more original with words they choose to call their significant other. I mean "honey" that's so damn lame because it's not from the heart it's from a freaking era that no longer exists. lame-O!

From the first day I met my husband he called me princess and he still does 8 years later. Maybe not as frequent as he did when we first met but he still calls me princess.

they never did call me honey, it would make me laugh too hard. i can't repeat the terms of endearment my partners have used here, i'd probably get suspended.

I don't get your question.

Honey is just like babe or sweetie. They are just words to be sweet or spoken out of habit.
