These situations never turn out good. They are
built on deceit and nothing positive can come from
that. As many people have said here- if he did leave,
what makes you think he won't find another woman
on the side?
I feel much compassion for his wife and son.
I get really frustrated when I hear these stories
because it is really unfair to the wife and children.
Really.
I am sure he fills you with the passionless life
he faces with his wife etc etc. He is SELFISH.
His son should not be burdened with his
lying cheating ways.
But 7 YEARS. Come on.
But I also feel compassion for you. I just hope
you seek some counseling to perhaps help you
gain self love and make a clean break from this
life of what has to be hellish. Why do you feel you
have to wait for someone and live by their rules- and
their broken promises/lies? You deserve to live a
life of dignity. Think about it.

If you were just 'seeing' him, that would be one thing, but, to be having an affair with a man for that long, makes you a homewrecker..
How old is his son? and that's probably the oldest line in the world... His son will never understand why daddy's getting some on the side..

His son should never HAVE TO understand about his father cheating on his mother. Why would you want to be with the kind of guy that would cheat on his wife? It's not like he would suddenly be different if you ever married him, he would just start cheating on you.

He's just keeping you happy on the side telling you that; if you're happy as a mistress, there's nothing wrong here.
That excuse automatically covers him until his kid is 18 or moves out - whatever comes last.

If he hasnt left for 7 yrs, he isnt going to. You need to move on, youre waisting your time. It doesnt say much about you, any good anyway, that youre sleeping with someones husband.
