Although I'm 41 most people think I'm 30ish and because of that most men that ask me out arrange in age from 28 to 35. The problem is my children are 21 and 19.(Both boys and in college) They hate that I keep getting asked out by such younger men. Personally I'm flattered. What do you all think?

Your sons are out of the house or age of consent. I don't see how it could be bad unless it seriously affects your relationship with your children. My husband is 12 years younger than me and we don't have any trouble....so, find someone that will make you happy and don't worry so much about the age. Good luck!

I would bet that would be flattering but 28-35 are really close to your kids' age but you should do what makes you happy and what makes your kids comfortable kind of thing. Even though that is the case you're not with minors so it shouldn't be an issue.

I'm 37 and my man is 23. We have been together for 2 years now and still going strong. My kids are 14 & 16 ( boy, girl ) they love him to death. Age to me is never a factor as long as the man is legal, has the same morals and values as I do, makes me laugh nad treats me and my kids right. Go with what you know, be firm in your decisions, your kids will learn to come around or at least learn that you too have a part of your life that is just yours.

I say if they are legal, then go for it. You look younger than you are, so be happy. You can't help who you are attracted to. Just ask your sons to back off and let you be happy. Ask them how they'd feel if an older woman approached them. Would they care how you felt or would they date her? And congrats on looking younger than your age...I'm proud to say I do to~

My sons 44, 37 Daughters 39, 40.. GIRLFRIEND 37.. and sweetheart we all get along just fine, the kids love her and just want me to be happy.. Who cares about age just as long as you dont have to potty train them....Your friend from Tennessee...ROB

I feel your pain, dear. I'll be 40 in a week, but I still get carded for liquor. Find a guy who is your age, but looks your physical age, as well.

Tell your grown boys that when they get to 41, they'll be trying to date 18yr olds too, so shut up and deal!

I think your sons are adults and unless you ask their opinions on things, they should refrain from offering theirs.
Date who you want.
Tell your sons to keep the verbiage to themselves.
