Why is it so easy for women to just turn off there love like a light switch? I found out today she was having an affair and she keeps telling me to just "get over it" and "it was just sex" What do I do? I am steaming with jealousy and I dont know what to do. Should I leave?? If I leave I plan to take our son, she will keep our daughter and we will do the divorced parent thing. Should I give marriage counseling a try?? Is it worth 100 bucks an hour??? My fiance has asked me to sign a prenup and I have expressed my dissatisfaction with it, not because I am a gold digger, but because I just feel that if you love someone and want to marry them you've gotta trust them enough that they would do the right thing by you even if something went wrong like divorce - I would not be unfair and take what was not mine to start with.

Anyway, I have agreed to sign it basically just to shut him up, however now, he keeps on wanting to talk to me about his finances and his money and the best ways for him to avoid paying extra tax etc. I feel very annoyed because he doesn't trust me enough to not have a prenup but still wants to chit chat about his money concerns. What should I say to him?

Alright I am currently a college student pursuing a nursing degree and live with my boyfriend. I have class in the day and work in the evening. My boyfriend keeps getting drunk at night since i'm not home. I came home from work tonight at 11 to find puke all over the tiolet and him passed out in the recliner with a pan in his lap as a puke bucket. I want to ask out this girl, but it's more complicated than that.

First of all, she lives 5 hours away from me. After graduation this spring, she plans on moving back here, but that's still awhile away.

Second, we're very very close. So close that I called her my little sister for awhile, but I really don't see her that way. The problem is, she still calls me her POB (protective older brother).

How do I make her stop seeing me as a brother? The protective and older I know how to deal with: they're kind of abberations, but I don't know what to do about the brother thing.

drive w/ her friends in the back seat? And me in the passenger seat of course. Even though she and her friends behave, if something ever happened, I'd feel responsible for her friends. divorce him, I know he won't change he swears at me and breaks my things he does not spend time on me, and he goes out by himself all the time, he abuses me verbally, mentally and pushes me around and sometimes kicks me. he is also addicted to gambling. I have noticed that he has gotten worse since he has gotten addicted to gambling. I live in canada and don't have any kind of money can I go to legal aid and request divorce what are my rights I am not happy in my marriage and he does not want to get any type of help at all.Please if anyone has any information please let me know.

Only 1000 characters to work with? Well shoot! Short version..i have 2 kids with my husband of 6 years. My parents rental home was up for grabs so we took it due to being in a black hole of finances. They keep treating us like children, more I then he (they are my parents) & every time I try and explain that thats how im feeling-they come up with some arguement to make me/us feel like **** for not respecting them, which is so far from the truth it sickens me. Few times it's been " we wont baby sit unlless the house is clean, or the lawn is mowed". What am I 13? (im 26) I understand totally their position in our lives, but as adults with one another, there has GOT to be some dang comprimise and understanding! A new issue has come up, that because they undermine my parenting while at their house, my kids see it as gamma and grampa dont have to listen to mommy and daddy so why do we?
