I want to ask out this girl, but it's more complicated than that.
First of all, she lives 5 hours away from me. After graduation this spring, she plans on moving back here, but that's still awhile away.
Second, we're very very close. So close that I called her my little sister for awhile, but I really don't see her that way. The problem is, she still calls me her POB (protective older brother).
How do I make her stop seeing me as a brother? The protective and older I know how to deal with: they're kind of abberations, but I don't know what to do about the brother thing.

It's funny... I ended up marrying a man I considered my "brother" when we were younger. If you stick with her long enough, through all the crappy boyfriends (or husband in my case), someday she just might realize how wonderful you are. That's what happened to me. The main thing is to mature into a good man. That way, even if she doesn't come around, you will most likely find a wonderful woman who won't see you as a brother. Good luck.

If you called her ur kid sister in a jovial way then she's probably responding to it in the same manner n calling u POB...talk to her and tell her how u feel...she probably does not really think of you as a brother either ! Or simply bid your time n stop calling her ur sister n she might give up on calling u a brother too n forget all about it !

You need to take her out on romantic dates and treat it like a date instead of trying to treat it as a night out with sister. Make her feel jealous by going out with other women and tell her about it. The good details not no sex stuff. Show the relationship side and not the perverted side. hopefully she would change her thought and think of you as a friend instead of a brother and work her way towards couples.

May be you are playing brother too much. Tell her you don't want to be her brother but a FRIEND. If she continues to treat you like a brother, get the message. She only wants you as a brother and nothing more.

It sounds like a wholesome relationship, and IT'S REALLY THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. It's rare that a girl has a fellow she can trust. Don't ruin it for her, but you can definitely ask her out and I think that this could possibly lead to marriage.

HAHHAHHA... oh boy your stuck wit this one.... like have you ever tried to take friend as a bf/gf.... its really hard n if your too close then it wont work out...!!! i jus had to tell you that....i would invite er on a date, with you n jus some mo ppl.... so she wont feel uncomfortable....then you culd have your friend tell her that you have a thing for her or,..... u could just be str8 up about it... either way your stuck!

tough one dude, cos no girl wants to sleep with her brother. there is a hug chance that she may not be attracted to you in that way. it can be wierd if you have known her for a while and you have always been close. but you can still try. firstly, act as though you arent friends. what would you do to get a girls attention? you have to act as though you dont know her and youre trying to win her affection.

Make her jealous. No matter what, NEVER tell her how you feel. Instead just show her. If you have a sister, ask her for advice, not your mother with all that just be yourself mumble jumble. Get advice from girls you know who are just friends. E-mail me for a masters site I know about.
Make yourself attractive.

you broke rule number one .... never let yourself fall into the friend category with someone you may want to in the future bang if you tell her that you want to give her the hump she is going to be like i don't want to ruin our friendship then you will say to hell with the friendship i want you on my kok and she will be like screw you is that why you became my friend so you can sleep with me you are a a**hole then she will leave mad and call a few days later all sad asking if you can still be friends sucks for you man sorry to here about your bad luck remember NEVER BE FRIENDS
