Does anyone know how long it takes from start to finish for a divorce to be finalised? I live in scotland and as of last week will be going through a divorce, I have a 4 year old son but although we will need to go to court to discuss maintenence and access, there is no problems between us in that respect. I have heard it can take usually up to six months, has anyone had it finalised any sooner?

I recently worked for a male doctor (was his temporary secretary). I sensed that he liked me, as he asked me what I was doing for the weekend. On another occasion, he walked into the office and commented on how nice my perfume smelt. I thought he was going to ask me out any minute, but the phone rang one afternoon and a lady’s voice said, "Can you tell Dr ………….to meet me for the theatre at 6.30". I was heartbroken. I subsequently left the job (as it was a temp one) and have seen this Dr again. On one or two occasions, he has been at the exact same time and place I pass when I leave work at night. Should I just ignore him, let him make the first move, or what?

i have known this girl for abt12 years now, then we lost contact for about 6 yrs. then one day, i sent her a mail to her school that i really love her and that i miss her. then 3 days later i saw her she called me and we greeted, for the past six years we hardly utter words to one another, if we ever come in contact. later i visited her in her school. she asked me why i hardly talk to her before now. i tried to explain things to her and she said ok that we can be frends. i visited her again in a weeks time, she sent her friend to tell that i should drop any message to her through her classmates. she later called me and said she dont like the way i visit her at her school. i later send her a card and some gift which she rejected without giving reason. she later told after something like a year that we are just friends because of old time sake, that her mind tells her that i will play with her and hurt her.she always say she know i have other gf. can someone tell me why? did she love me
