Is it wrong for me to like a guy 5 years older than me?
I like him and he likes me but we are 5 years apart and it's not good. Should I just let him go or show I like him and wait?

There's this guy who approach me about 5 months ago and we have grown to be great friends. The other day, i asked him how he feel about me and he said that i was a nice person, someone to lookup to, someone to depend on, and someone to help out in time of need, and a good friend to talk to, so I am asking do I have a chance of taking this relat. to another level and do you think he will like me. do I need to come straightout and say it.

This has caused great pain not just for them but for me also, what can i do so that we can see each other, she know's it's not fare but she continue's to be selfish, and the poor thing's never know how long im going to be around for so they end up distancing themselve's from me.

like seriosuly, it seems like everyone is more successful than me socially. i'm starting highschool, and i have friends...i think i'm just middle-class, not popular or a loser....but i REALLY REALLY wanna be popular! and i know all that stuff about being yourself, and all, but i've tried that, and it hasn't really worked out for me...i don't even have a boyfriend yet!!!!! i know that i'm average looking...not horrible, and people tell me i have pretty eyes....but i still havent gotten one yet. i know, its really lame, but i'm starting a new school, so i guess this is my chance to start a new life, and stuff. please, no nasty comments, i already know how shallow it is....if anyone who is popular (or was, lol) or is really successful in getting boyfriends lol, could give me advice that would be great!!! please help, and no mean comments please!!! thanx so much!

While in university, I took a semester of child developement(my major was engineering).

The instructor(who did ground breaking research in both cross-sectional and longitudinal studies) popped the question:"should you reward your child/teen with $$$ as a reward for doing well?"

About 5 people stated it was a good idea. I was the dissenting voice. I just felt it was wrong .

The instructor stated it was an unwise choice to reward children with $$$ or superfluous items, because you will condition them later in life by a reward system motivated by financial/material possessions. The people in life who find cures for diseases, find new discoveries, invent, write music, artists, write literature, and other great endevors are usually NOT motivated by material possessions or greed.

Want to reward your child? Praise them for their efforts, bring them out for an ice-cream, or take them to a movie, theme-park, etc.

My friend's stepdad has been touching her. She told her mom but her mom told her that she was just jealous.
My friend ran away, to my house shes staying with me now and my mom doesn't know. The sad thing is that her mom hasn't put out a missing child report, and her stepdad is slowly hooking her mom BACK on drugs, afters she has been clean for 5 years. ok so i got grounded from my computer and my phone for like 5 days and when i got back on i saw that my boyfriend was worried that i left him but said that he would wait in an email he sent so i responded and told him what happened. he hasnt responded for like a day which is sort-of weird of him. also i saw that he answered girls's questions that were asking for a bf. HOWEVER he didnt delete my name from his profile that i was his gf so i'm really confused. he did that once before but got rid of my name in his profile and it hurt really bad and i dont want to get hurt again. ideas?

My fiance and I are starting to make purchases for our wedding, and we have heard of people getting a credit card to make the wedding purchases and getting some kind of reward, cash back, bonus, or free airline miles.

Has anyone heard of this? Where should I look or how should I search to find out which one to go with? Thanks for your help!

Ok if a guys winked at you after a conversation a couple of times with a big smile. On a couple of occasions tried to get your attention. And after getting it looking at you and smiling. I've onyl been with my boyfriend for a little over ayear but he has said that we would be engaged by New Years this year..I'm really confused because I don't see this happening..if it was he would be saving money for a ring..he isn't.. he always brings up how we're going to be together, what kind of pets we'll have, where we'll live, how many kids, etc. I feel obsessed with wanting an answer or something to happen just because he's spoken so much of a dream of a future together..I hate this! I just want to know if I'm wasting my time. How can I know? He told me he got me somthing I'd really love for my brithday. I highly doubt its what I really want, lol. How can I know for sure?
