Probably impossible for anyone else to answer but worth a try. We have been together 8 years and he is 29 next month. He really doesn't care much for presents - he will probably not even remember it is his birthday soon until i remind him! I have always got him some silly rubbish but he deserves something special this year. Have any boys out there ever received something truly memorable? For your info - he's a real lad's lad and can already afford to buy himself anything he really wants (especially gadgets, music - he is not interested in clothes). I already gave him a voucher for kisses etc a couple of years ago and wants to try something new. Please help - any suggestions gratefully received. I hope you don't think i'm a rubbish girlfriend! Thanks x

I am in love with a girl and before my uncle discouraged me - I knew I was deeply and madly in love with her. Now I try hard to feel that way but I dont have that same feeling - but I know that inside I love her more than I can love any one else. My uncle is against this coz her farther is his enemy and I feel loss coz my uncle was my father mother and everything to me from my childhood. SO recently i started going out w/ one of my good friends. ireally like her. Another of our friends is constantly getting between us, literaly. For instance she makes a point to sit in the middle of us.she also tags along and keeps making "excuses" about chaperoning us.We would never do domething bad and there is really no need for this. she also kind of flirts w/ me and i think she likes me but idk. My husband insists on handling what he says is "his" money since he works and I am a SAHM. I have finally had enough of asking him for money to buy things like groceries or school supplies then getting ugly words thrown at me. He handles money poorly so we are deeply in debt and he will not budget or plan. It's impossible for me to do things under his "rules". So I give up. He can do all the shopping for everything. I tried to manage our money for 2 years and he stayed angry with me when I would tell him in a store that we could not afford to buy this or that. I had to plan carefully all of our purchaces. Anyway I give up. Just wondering how others handle these things.

Alright on very slim occasions my boyfriend gets drunk. Last night was one of those occasions and he told his ex-girlfriend he missed her blah blah would never forget his first love and all of that. Should I be mad?-he was drunk. But on the other hand don't they say that the drunken mind speaks the sober heart? This situation is very confusing for me and I don't know quite how to handle it.
