Keep it family. I married my cousin and have regretted it. My kids had to put up with being quizzed by their mates on how come they're not handicapped. My daughter went paranoid about her first baby thinking it might suffer some handicap cos her parents were cousins. My husband is more of a brother than a husband. Believe me it's not worth it. Find new blood.

The danger with first cousins having relationships lies with any children that might result. Obviously the gene pool is that much shallower in these situations which could lead to health problems for the children. Having children with partners outside of your own families gene pool is much healthier for any children who have a wider resistance to infection, for example.
On a moral level it depends on how the family in general would view a relationship. How would you feel if in the future your son or daughter wanted to have a relationship with the daughter or son of your brother or sister? Something a bit yukky about it!
I am sure there are plenty of other girls out there who would love to have a relationship with you - you need to move out of your family circle and explore the opportunities!

Go for it, after all you are not promising to marry her! If it did work out then it is perfectly lawful and ok to marry cousins these days anyway. Find out by asking her if she fancies you or if she is just flirting with you for fun. This is the only way you will know. Good luck.
