Do you think this is alot of money for a gift?
ive been with my boyfriend for almost 9 months it will be 1 year in November. We have had some issues in the past few months, but were trying to work threw them, anyways. For christmas also his birthday right after ,he keeps hinting about a Michael Jordan basketball card (autograph) i believe the card ranges from $400-600
Im 19 years old hes 24, i make about $200 a week.
I dont feel comfterable buying a $400 ****** card, but thats what he always wanted.
Have you ever spent that much on your gf or bf for a gift?

he doesnt exspect me to get it but thought it would be nice of me.

You see we beagn dating firhg t after prom I was 18 and we were crazy for each other. I made it clear that if we were to be together I wanted to be able to trust him. I wanted him to be honest with me I know honesty whenit comes to guys is a real pain. To my surprise he came out and told me that he ws writing to my ex best freind. They wer freinds for as long as I could remember. He asked me not to get mad because I knew that they were friends for a long time. And he even dedicated a song to me do you guys remember "please don't go girl" (new kids on the block). I still love that song, he even told me that he loved me and he said to me please don't leave me over this. I was so mad that I ended the relationship anyway. I regret it because I did still love him I just felt like he was keeping that from me what else coudl there be hidden. I was afraid that in the long he would reject me so I rejected him first. He came back looking for me when he was done serving in the army.

me and my b-friend barely started going out , but people, lk my bestest friend and my ex, keep making up different stories about him cheating on his ex g-friend. He says it was a "missunderstanding" and she just started telling pple that he cheated on her. My girlfriend and I have been together for about a year now she is 19 I am 22. I love her to death and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for her. One night we were sitting and talking and she went quiet on me and I asked her what was wrong she started crying and said she needed to tell me something she hasn't told anyone else not even her parents. She told me that when she was 15 she was at a party and when she wasn't looking someone slipped some drug in her soda. She isn't that big to begin with and the drug knocked her out quick. The next thing she remembers was waking up on a bed not knowing where she was with a guy forcing himself on her. she screamed and fought she doesn't know how far it went before other people busted down the door to the room. All she remember then was trying to find her clothes and cupping her left eye where he hit her, now blind in it. All I could think to do was hold her and comfort her the best I could and tell her it wasn't her fault. What else can I do?

you do. i feel myself sinking badly into depression, progressively worse and i can't pinpoint anything but that as the culprit. i sort of feel like why bother trying in life because nothing can ever be good enough and whats the point of striving for a good life when it will always be brought down by this. is this a normal feeling? is this something that a lot of men deal with?

my boyfriend and i split up for a couple weeks and he talked to another girl on myspace. he swore he wouldnt talk to any girls in that time because i wanted to work the problems out with him and mend our 2 year relationship. when we did get back with eachother, he said he met her one night for about 10 minutes but that they didnt go any where, do anything, etc. he was vague about how much they talked. this was about 2 months ago. she now has contacted me and swears to God that they went out together, etc in that time and has appologized to me. everything she told me they did together was detailed of what he told me he did alone. he swears they didnt go anywhere, etc. who would you believe? and why? forget the fact that we were not together, it was in the past, and all that b.s. i am aware of that. i want an opinion on who is lieing. this girl is giving me a list of people that i can talk to for proof and brandon is saying his word should be enough because i love him... who is true?

I am an adoptee who was born in Madison, WI, on 1/7/73. How do people feel that their searches for their birth families have gone? This is something that has been eating at me ever since I knew. I don't think she's searching for me, but what would be the harm in searching for them? Both of my adoptive parents are dead, any thoughts?
