Get out of Vegas, for the Love of God!

If you can settle out of it, and let the ink drain out of your blood you can learn to have a regular sort of life.

The trouble with a lot of cities is that they are way off the scale of normal. But when you grow up there that is what you know, so THAT seems normal to you. But it isn't how the rest of the world works. Ya know? Like normal places your uncle doesn't get tipped in diamonds for being a pit boss, and then lose everything because he can't keep his life together.

Vegas is a fast city. People aren't meant to live like that. Get out while you are young. Find a better way. The entire friend I had from Vegas tried leaving and was always happier on the outside...Somehow they got sucked back into it and fell back into ruin. Sad. A lot of sad stories in that town.

It's not like that in every city.

Try Oregon, Salem is beautiful. You know the "white picket fence" you hear about. That whole "American dream" bit? Those places do exist some places.

I thought it was a total myth. The town I come from is really rough. They have found a body on everyone's block at one point or another. That's why you shouldn't swim in the ditches...but everyone does anyway.

I left there about 5 years ago, and what you know there are places where gangs don't own every corner. It hadn't even occurred to me till I had lived here for 2 years... Funny huh? I just assumed the people I saw "hanging out" were on the job. Nope. In the nice areas no one had to pay to keep the gangs out of there either. They just weren't there. Weird. Anyhow. I love living where you don't have to have bars on your windows.

Think about it. If you think you can get used to a normal life. It took us a while. People walk closer to me than I like. The first couple years I always felt like someone was either trying to start a fight or take my wallet. And No one holds onto their kids. It’s only because they don't have a pickpocket problem, and child abductions aren't a threat... After a while you get used to it. Ha its funny people can just leave their purse in their shopping cart, and no body tries to grab it and run.

So in short, try a different world on and see if it fits you.

DON"T GO.....Las Vegas is cooool. You will be SO bored!!!
There is NOTHING in a smalltown, unless you have a family.
I will bet if you go, you'll be back in a month, maybe 5-6 weeks.
