Which would you choose? You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to
pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

My theory is that one of the things that makes this guy so attractive to women and a genius, is that he made two movies about something that every woman loves...chocolate.

Put a good looking guy next to a candy bar. Is this a new theme for hollywood?

I am 8 months pregnant with my first child and my fiancee and I are about to break up. We are both in college-his 5th year and my 1st quarter and he has two other kids. The reason we are about to break up is that we fight all the time and after 7 or 8 months of this, I really just can't take it. It's not good for my health or my baby's health. Everyone asks me if I still love him but I really don't know. All I feel is pain and tears. I haven't seen my family in over a month and they live less than 10 miles away but thanks to our financial difficulties and his parents, we don't have a car. I have a work study job and so does he and he also works at Wendy's. He expects me to work there also at 8 months pregnant and I don't know if I can. Everything has become about money...We always seem to need more and yet we have plenty and $2,000 more coming in 10 days.
I want to know...should I stick it out, move back with my parents and forget about college, or rack up more debt by leaving him?

A husband having an affair is likely to be one of the most painful and devastating things that can happen to you. Not knowing if your husband is cheating on you or not is equally as painful. Even the prospect of your husband being unfaithful is painful and extremely disruptive.

We all know that both sexes are guilty of infidelity and that blame for a broken relationship is not the fault of a gender, but there are several aspects of infidelity that are more attributable to men then women.

Recent studies indicate that males are more likely to engage in adulterous activity for the sexual experience only, than are women. Although this is not a rule, we do see more instances of men cheating on their wives purely for the physical act of sex. These men are more likely to have a relationship with any willing female and to allow that relationship to end quickly or immediately than are women. Women committing adultery tend to initiate an affair for some “greater purpose” than lust. A woman can find a man for sex any time they want to whereas a man cannot always find a woman willing to have sex with him. These types of men will often have more interest in the physical aspect of the relationship and tend not to get as emotionally attached to their cheating partner in the affair as women do. Experts say that unlike women who undoubtedly fantasize about extracurricular romance but who are able to separate that fantasy from reality; men are more likely to be unable to distinguish between “mental longings” and physical transgressions, many times not realizing the true scope of what they are doing until it's too late.

The next argument made about men and infidelity is that men are “naturally inclined” to try and “mate” with as many women as possible. This argument implies that like some animals, men want to procreate and “spread their seed” to as many women as possible. Whether there is any validity to this argument or not is best left up to the scientific community, but there is little doubt that more men are able to engage in infidelity, with less guilt, than are women. (i.e. the guy who goes to the local “massage parlor” once a year, but has no remorse and simultaneously, no feelings for the masseuse/prostitute is somewhat unique to men) This does not mean that some women do not engage in affairs and adultery without remorse, it is just less common. Please understand that despite the threat of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, there is a pool of women out there who like to have intercourse with many men, often with complete strangers, some of whom do it for money. They can be with 250-300 men in a year, sometimes two or three in the same day!

Men also appear to be driven by the desire to feel good and to be with someone that arouses them. They often stray when they find an opportunity to have sex with someone that is “hotter” then their wife or partner or is in some way more sexually exciting. If they perceive their wife as being overweight, out of shape, non-responsive or too crabby, infidelity becomes a much more realistic option. Everyone has heard story after story about a husband who we catch cheating who reports that it is his wife’s fault. “She got fat”; “she only cares about the kids” or no longer cares about having exciting sex. Men like to feel important and desired and when a woman shows an interest, it feels good and they go after it. When a stranger shows an interest in a man, they get aroused. Put a man who is unhappy at home or in his marital bed in that scenario and you can guess what happens.

The last difference is that more men seem to get away with it. They seem to be more capable of maintaining the “norm” at home while carrying on the affair. If the affair is detected, it appears that a wife is more likely to stay with an adulterer husband then the opposite, thus sending the message to the males of our society that even if they do get caught, it must be acceptable because “so and so” had been cheating for years, got caught and his wife got over it. Society also tells men that having sex with as many women as possible is the way to go. Many people adore hearing about the sexual exploits of the likes of Hugh Hefner, Tommy Lee, Warren Beatty, Mick Jagger, etc. etc. Even a former president got caught engaging in oral sex with a young woman in the oval office and he remains married and became more popular than ever. The ability to sleep with many women is linked to the ideas of having power, status and money, all things that the average husband strives for. As long as women tolerate infidelity on the part of their husband, husbands will likely take advantage of it.

Think about the old “seven year itch” and how the fact that even in times when marriage was deemed to be more sacred than it is now, a husband’s inclinations toward being unfaithful after a period of marriage was so pronounced that it merited its own name.

Something that is not gender specific but is worth mentioning is that in almost all cases of marital infidelity, something is wrong in the marriage. Either the husband or the wife is unhappy and likely both. Someone’s needs are not being met. Something does not work the way they want it to.

i know of a christian man who used a christian girl just for sex, kept there relationship secret, ignored her in church, only came around when he wanted a bit and then ended it without explanation. And 6 months later he came back expecting her to take him back with open arms. Would have have changed after being humiliated after the ministers of the church found out about what he got up to or would he be the same person he was 6 months ago.

okay, i'm twenty fricken years old and i am afraid to perform (be on top) when i'm with a guy. i mean i've had sex several times before but i was never really on top. it was always the guys and when time came for me to be on top, sex would already be over and with. that's how things were like with me and my ex-boyfriend(s) otherwise, i'd stay abstinent for long periods of time. so anywho, there's this new guy and were almost to the point of getting intimite. the thing is, i'm always trying to avoid staying over at his place or vice versa because i'm afraid i won't know how to work it when i'm on top. this guy, i really like him and he's not like the other guys. he's actually willing to please his girls and he can last. i'm afraid he'll leave if i don't do a good job. so if anybody, i mean anybody just please give me some real honest tips? you could give me anything that would help me. thanks!

basically ive been best mates with my girlfriend since playschool and i love her to death...but she really pisses me off!

Because i know that she doesnt mean it and that she doesnt relieze that shes doing it but she really makes me feel like crap. Like, when we go out she gets all the guys around her and leaves me, she dumps all her friends the minute a new guy comes in to her life and she really clings on to them, she's allways has to be centre of attention and all she talks about is herself 24/7.

Ive put up with it for so long now that i actually cant take it no more, but i just dont know how to tell her....any ideas?

My roommate is older than I am and never someone I would be interested in anyway. I think too much jealousy is very poisonous and I think I should get away from him. He has been told time and time again that this is only a roommate situation, but I don't think he really gets it. Please give me feedback on some of your opinions (based on experience please) so I can compare them to mine. I think I am healthy and am on the right track. Thanks for your opinions!!

How do you tell a girl who you think you've been "just friends" with, except you think that she likes you a lot too, for 2 years that you really really like her and think that she's sexy. What can you say that will bring both of you out of a shell that you've been in where you are scared to tell each other your feelings, do anything physical and become boyfriend & girlfriend instead of "just friends"? Please help.
