My roommate is older than I am and never someone I would be interested in anyway. I think too much jealousy is very poisonous and I think I should get away from him. He has been told time and time again that this is only a roommate situation, but I don't think he really gets it. Please give me feedback on some of your opinions (based on experience please) so I can compare them to mine. I think I am healthy and am on the right track. Thanks for your opinions!!

People can make your life miserable if you let them. I won't even be friends with people that act jeolous of my attention. The guy is obviously immature or he would stop trying to make something out of nothing. If he's grilling you about your life because he's jeolous? You can blow up at him and let him know he has no right, or you can leave. I chose to cut myself off from the person I was dealing with. If this guy isn't someone that you plan to keep in your life then I would leave.

I think that in order for him to feel this way for u something must have happened. anywayz, i believe that if u dont feel anything about him, u should tell him, again and again and then if he still doesent get it, kick him out, if u can. otherwise stay as long as u feel u can put up with it. Even if u have somekind of physically relationship and thats it, and he knows that there is nothing else, or won't be in the future, he shouldn't be jealus . but still if he's in love with u it's sweet. u tell him what u feel, which is nothing, and let him be.

Depending on who's house it is I would consider moving out. Not a healthy place to be. I had a girlfriend/roomate once and she got jealous when ever I went out on a date and if I brought the date home she would go out of her way to make her presence known if you get my jist. Got to be worse for you cause your roomy is a guy. Good luck.

Sounds like you need to get another roommate, jealousy can lead to some bad, nasty situations. If he doesn't get it now, I doubt he ever will,

Kick him out, find another roommate or find another place yourself. Either way, he's got to go. He's got selective hearing....he hears what he wants to hear. There is no good type of jealousy.
