It is now 3:30 am here and my daughter (15) just went to bed. Had a real heart to heart confession session. I hugged her, she hugged me. We told things we never normally would have. She understands I screwed up and I don't want the same for her. How do you talk to your kids?

I've known 2 of my guy friends for a year, and since then I've been hanging out with both of them, becoming good friends...until recently. Unfortunately, they know each other from highschool, but they were never really friends with each other. I didn't realize it until later on, when my friend told me. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal if I hung out with them, (not together) because they weren't that good of friends. Well one guy I'll call "jake" told me he wanted to be my bf. The other guy "darren" showed me he cared about me but never really came out & said that he liked me, although sometimes actions speak louder than words. Anyways, I liked "darren" more because he's more of the bad boy type, and "jake" is the good guy. Well they found out that I was seeing both of them, and they both got jealous. Since I wanted to win "darren"s attention back, I told him that I never liked "jake" because he was a dweeb (good guy). I haven't talked to "jake" for awhile.

Ok all you elders out there, for you to know,as i've been taught. No, you are never to young to be in love. Yes you are young to have sex! or any of that, for all of you wondering. But anyone can be at love at any age-without phisical feelings of any sort. Sure a kiss on the cheek whatever, we may be young, but we have feelings to-and not just because of hormones. We were born with feelings to love god,and everyone else. When you were 13,14,15, i doubt you wanted to hear you're to young to be in love, or have a relationship.Anyone can have a relationship with being appropriate. Some of us don't let our hormones tell us who we love, i listen to my instincs. AND Maybe instead of STERIOTYPING a lot of us, then you should know. i'm the typical average teenager, you know one of those who just likes puppy love and an adorable kiss on the cheek! just let people live for once- and i guarantee you, most of us are really smart- and don't plan on making mistakes. And you know you had crushes too!

My of my closer friends has a real problem and I am afraid that I have failed to give her a solution. It is now up to you, the elite of Yahoo Answers to try and solve it.
Here goes. She has a boyfriend that she loves very much and also a male bet friend that she has known before her boyfriend and gets along with him really well. Her boyfriend has often told her that she dislikes the fact that she spends time with her friend instead of with him, but still, the 2 guys know each other and get along
Now here's what happened yesterday. He started swimming lessons and the best friend wanted to join her in classes. Now her boyfriend got into a jealouse rage, called the guy up they cursed each other and now neither of them wants to talk to her untill she gives up the other. And there's gonna be a huge fight on Monday unless somenone comes up with a solution to this problem. The girl can't give either of them up. Think of a really good way of making those 2 get along again.
Thank you!

I am 26 years old, my husband is 30, and MY daughter is 6. We used to live with my mother while my daughter was a baby and shortly after we got married. We moved into our own place 3 years ago, been married almost 5. My mother still lives close to us and often watched my daughter while my husband and I worked midnights. A couple weeks ago my husband and mother got into a big fight while I was at work in front of my daughter. Now we are using a babysitter (something I said I would never do).
This is what I was told happened: My mother walked into my apartment to get my daughter up for day camp. My husband knew this was going to happen, as he had worked an afternoon the day before and I was afraid that he would over sleep. My husband was up when my mother walked in, and said something along the line of him needing to get his a$$ up in the morning. He then got mad and told her to get the hell out of his house and stop bossing him around.

okay situation...
i feel bad but i didnt even know this guy existed till like 2 months ago but ive met his whole family. So basically my brother is friends with his brother and we're the younger siblings. My parents talk to his parents. He's really cool and i mean i dont know why i'm really questioning this but don't you think this will be awkward, especially when the older brothers find out?? and he's sorta shy but i really do think he likes me based on the things he's said but i'm old fashion and usually wait for the guy to make the first move...well yeah so that's it
and we're teenagers

I was raised in a home where homosexuals, bisexuals, and transsexual, were hated extremely. I told them three years ago when I was 15 that I liked guys instead of girls.

They said (and still say) I only do because I am an evil child, and did so to disobey them.

I am still upsetting them because I still like guys instead... but it is a part of who I am... I guess...
