Have any women out there let go of their first love, thinking their was something better out there, or for any reason and lived to regret that decision?

I treated my first love like shi+, I didn't appreciate him. I left thinking other people were more exciting, or better looking or whatever reason I came up with. I don't regret it because I learned a lot. I learned that when you think the grass is greener on the other side, it is time to water your own lawn.
Thank God I know better now. I am the best wife any man could have. I have the fairy tale relationship that you think only happens in movies. I adore my husband, and he is so good to me. My favorite thing in the world is his smile, the best sound is his laughter.

Yes. I think about him almost everyday (met him 20 years ago). But I can't really regret marrying the (wrong) man that I did, because I have a child. I know I'd still be married if I had just waited a few months longer for him to sort things out, but how was I to know that. Since then, history has repeated itself; I am involved with an almost identical man....in an almost identical situation. Which is really wonderful...really scary...and really frustrating. My advice is to wait as long as you can, and always keep that door open, if you can.

for me first love is just someone you love first isnt it? so if you let him go for a reason you dont have to regret it... what really is important is TRUE LOVE... if your first love is your true love believe me time will come youll be in each others arms again but if not it means you are not meant with each other and theres no reason to regret, your true love is waiting for you out there.. just look and give yourself a chance to find true love... and dont stick with memory... enjoy your life

Yes and No, its according to how I feel that day or if I see him or talk to him or since we have children together a moment I would like to share or my son looks at me and doesn't understand why he can't have both of us at the same time. I think its different for everyone its according to the circumstances.

Kind of, but now I know I was totally wrong and what o thought i wanted It wasn't really what I wanted

oh defiantely! im after giving up this guy that was so gorgeous and sweet to going with a guy that gets drunk everday and is at the bar as we speak. Sure i love him but i always wonder what could have been... You know what it is called??
