Okay gonna do the eloping thing. I have a huge family. I just don't want the hassle of a huge wedding, but would like my mom, dad and a few very close siblings to come. We are going to give everyone a weeks notice so that way the ones who really want to be there will do what ever it takes to come. Here is my question. Am I obligated to buy dinner for everyone afterwards? The way I figure it about 30-40 people will come. I know it would be nice but very pricey.

you both have a bond but your relationships with your parents on a real close love level was never there. so niether of you really know what the hell your doing but you know you care alot about them. ? is it called something different when two screw ups get together always convincing the other one that you love them but they cant really believe it.. is it possible to learn to really love somone when you dont know what its like?

Addiction is endemic in American families. A USA TODAY/HBO nationwide poll of adults April 27-May 31 found that one in five said they had an immediate relative who at some point had been addicted to alcohol or drugs. That translates into roughly 40 million American adults with a spouse, parent, sibling or child battling addiction. And that doesn't count the millions of children living with an addicted parent.


Many Americans might find these numbers shocking. But H. Westley Clark, who directs the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, or SAMHSA, says he's not surprised that 20% of poll respondents said they have an immediate relative who has been addicted to alcohol or drugs.

Is it this bad and do the results/figures honestly underscore the problem of addiction ?

basically i love this guy soo much n soo does he...his really down to earth and "My" type of guy!his not goodlooking,his not wealthy(maybe some day he wil),his build n m helping him to loss weight....his his kinda guy who jst dress up wearin tshirt n jeans..he alwaz makes me happy n each n every moment whenever we talk..we just tease eachother n crack jokes...probably i am thinking to marry him but i have a doubt..cause when i see cute guys i get attracted to them and wonder why am i wasting my time with one guy while they many Good ones on this earth..and most of the girls goes after Goodlooking guys....i wanna know what do girls thinks ..do they go after cute guys or prefer a guy like mine! I was in love with this girl for close to 2 years and i ever confess to her how i felt for her and she also admit that she do have some feelings for me..We were very close all the way but didn't get together because we felt it is just not the right time to be together as we still has to study..But things turns out bad after a close friend of mine learnt that she is in love with me(he is in love with her for 4 years and he introduce her to me but she didn't like him), we distance as she dun wan any quarrel to occur..and now things seems to ok, i tried to talk to her but she avoid me,at times she will say hi to me..this troubles me alot..do you think i should give up on her and move on with life?or simply wait for her..she might still be in love with me..i dunno cause i didn't ask her.

3 years ago my friend was invited to a party. when the party was over some guy wanted to give her a ride home.and in car he had a bottle of Pepsi, he offered her some pepsi, when she drank it she fell asleep. he took her to his place and raped her.
she discovered that next day when she felt pain in the morning and it was her 1st time to have sex, she figured it out.
unfortunately, my friend didn't tell her family about it, and she lost all conacts with that guy who lives in another country but was there for the summer time.
how do u think my friend should have act?

Ok, I love the work that I Do and the place that I work at.. It's close to home and the people here are a joy..
But I don't think I'm getting paid what I am worth.. I'm barely scraping by each week, and now petrol is on the rise and rent and food, but my wage has been the same for ages.. I asked my boss for a raise and he said he would give me one.. then he didn't?? I asked him what that was about and he said he will give me one in maybe 3 mnths when the budget shifts?? I really feel as if I am worth it a try my best at work and rarely make mistakes..What should I do... I just want enough to get by and feel like I'm being valued..(even though the boss tells me this I want to see it) I dont need to make a ridiculous amount of money or anything like that I think what I'm asking for is reasonable.. P.S. Ive been at this company for 4 years..
