I would take him back, and go to spelling class together.

I was with a guy for 8 months and we split up, he went off with someone else (typical) anyway 5 years later he is chasing me again and i was just so stubborn i didn't give in for a year and eventually i caved in and got back with him. Seen as though he tried for a year i thought this must have meant something good. Everything seems to be going well, if not better than before but isn't every relationship normally good to begin with! Now were going to have to just see how things go! I think though that if a person walked away once you have to make them work really hard to be given a second chance!

Well yes ..love is sweeter the second time ...coz its only when u lose someone that u realise his/her worth in your life . and when that person is back ..it is surely more than a pleasant surprise for both the partners .Even more so if both have realised their faults for the break up in the 1st instnace and have decided to make it good . But yes ..if the initial break up was due to bitter reasons then a lots of trust and faith is lost ..and it takes some heroic efforts to get it back again ..but its surely worth it if you do ! so best of luck there ..

I think it appears sweeter....ever notice how second-time married couples show more affection, hold hands, communicate more (especially the men), and are so lovey-dovey? In my case, I first I got hurt and then eventually started getting angry at my husband for his lack of general decency and affection he showed me. Over the years, I started nagging him and drove him away. Now he's having an affair and doing all the things to her that I begged him to do to me. When I called him on it, he said, "Well, I remember all the things you used to yell at me about, and I make sure I treat her right." How sweet! I, by taking his bull **** for years, taught him how to love someone else, and show her the true emotion I craved. I guess I just wasn't the one he could love.

If you still love him/she, then when she come back because he/she is still love you, then it is sweeter than the first time.
If he/she come back due to other reason, you have to watch out.

NOOO.... You had all the reasons to end it, why go through it again and torture yourself. Everything from before is bound to resurface.. Never would I do that again.

it might be nice at the beginning when you start again - but the problem why you left your partner first place will show up pretty soon again....

it depends on y did we break up.
if it was a stupid silly reason then it would be sweet. but if it was a big reason i prefer not to have a second time.

Possibly, unless you've grown in a different direction.
