I will make this as short as possible. I repeated something at work that my friend told me and it backfired on me and now she may be in trouble. What happened was, a person in upper management made a rather crude comment about me to my current boss, and my former boss told me about it. When she told me though, she told me that she had overheard it, when in fact she hadn't, and my current boss had repeated it to my former boss. Now that I have told human resources, they seem very interested in how i found out. So in short my former boss, who also happens to be one of my best friends, is worried she will get into trouble for repeating something said between management to a lower employee. She has ignored me for about 4 days, though I have told her I will say or do what I need to do to take the fall for it so she doesn't get into trouble. I want to email her to say sorry, or should I just give her space and hope she comes around? Tomorrow i meet with hr to find out what will happen

why do yall get mad when we dont awnser our phone at night? my gf flipped out cause when i went on vacation i didnt awnser all of her calls at night. she thinks i hooked up with someone just cause i went to south padre island. i didnt awnser because i was either sleeping or hanging out with my friends

Recently i got to know that my friend ,whose ex had left him unannounced and suddenly,has made so lasting impression about women,that he is literally frightened to allow his heart to break again,by fully trusting any woman.She began by telling she wanted to shift and made excuses to give her details of contact and suddenly went away from his life(they were in a live in relationship for two yrs and knew eachother frm many yrs before they decided to live together) without even leaving any parting note or msg,or phone number.The frnd searched her madly for many months,and at last immersed himself in work and became workohol.This happened 6 yrs back,but he still cant come out of his past.I feel sad abt whateer he went thru,but i m not able to convince him abt lasting relationships.How to help him come out of the hurtful past?

My brother is so spoiled! he's annoying and gets away with everything! i practically get 10 bruises a day! or an hour! My mom thinks he's an angel worth more than diamonds!! He gets everything he wants!!!!!!!! He's always first in everything and its like im practically ignored! and worst of all he like rubs it in my face with his freakin pride!!! The only people who really know what I'm going through is my best freind and her mom. I feel like I don't even exist. I need advice, someone who knows how to deal with him. So far trying to discipline him doesn't work. Trying to complaining to my mom stinks. and everything just makes her mad and sends me punishment! For now my best freind has come up with a trial-error solution of rubbing things in his face to make him shut up. someone! please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it that some people live in despair after having their hopes increased and shattered? Why does life have to be so terrible for some and so happy for others? my husband and i separated february of this year.we had an arrangement that my son will be with him during weekdays because he does not have a job and would have the time to bring the child to and from the school. but i also go to school everyday to make sure that all my son's homeworks get done.

then my husband and i recently had a fight. he told me i should take care of the child, to get back at me. he knows i would have difficulties since i am working full-time and we don't have a househelp. but then, i agreed, thinking that it would give me more time to be with my son...regardless of how taxing that would be for me.

then yesterday, he said the child does not want to stay with me. i insisted. he said that i am selfish because i am only thinking of myself and not what the child wants. AM I REALLY SELFISH?

My father gifted me with his wedding band from marriage to my mother in hopes that my fiance will wear it as a token of my father's blessings for our marriage. My parents separated after 26 years recently and while I don't want to use his wedding band as my fiance's wedding band, I thought perhaps I could have it cut down and engraved and have my fiance wear it on his right ring finger. Any suggestions?

I have recently reunited with an old highschool friend of mine and it makes me nervous to have her around my man because of the fact that all my ex best friends always did me wrong and cheated with my man on me. He has cheated on me once before last summer and as far as I know he hasn't done it again since then and she hasn't given me any inclination to think that she would do something like that but i still don't think that i would be comfortable if say she called and said she needed a ride could my man give it to her or something like that.. I just don't know what to do because I don't want to lose her and I don't want to lose him. SHe I just trust them both until they give me a reason not to?
