I have brothers and one is married the other engaged and not once have I ever acted like that...Being from england and coming here to visit some friends...we see eachother's family a lot and it feels like
both families are really just one. so no I don't act like his family doesn't mean anything...not saying names ...but cough *curly* cough... and we used to be friends then after our first daughter was born they acted like I was some evil witch or the devil...I acted the same all the way through the pregnancy...friendly and inviting them over for tea and garden parties...even taking their kids to let them have a day offf with their husband or boyfriend.

A lot of females in America do come across narcissistic. Reason being? Virtually all females (from birth) are identified as "princess".

Furthermore, when a female becomes teenage, she is told she is superior, smarter, and more mature(no matter how they truly act)...also...that they can do "no wrong".

Females are then told -- during early adulthood -- that they are like "goddesses" = due to a female's capability of getting pregnant. That they are "soul creators of life". In addition to such nurturing, females are then told they are the "moral fabric and soul nurturers of society". And once again, told they can do "no wrong". That if they murder or physically attack another? Well, it is the "other person's fault (or deserved) for making her mad". That female violence is excused... Not to mention the 12 notorious excuses women use to murder (this includes murdering children and not just men).

Women are also taught that if they aren't assaulted or aggressed? That they are not being feminine.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist......

I think it's because sisters will always believe that no woman is a match for her brother, whether it's her business or not. When sisters do that, they remind me of fathers. They'll always think that the girlfriend is up to no good, and act all rude to them whenever it's a family get-together or something like that. And I also think that some sisters just don't want their brothers to have a girlfriend, period. They think that if a woman comes in the equation, that she will take the place of her, and that her brother won't be as close to her anymore because he has a woman. It's crazy.

Nobody likes to lose a relationship, or have the nature of a relationship change unexpectedly.

The sister gets to lose a lot of her brother, and get what? She doesnt know. What is a girl to do when she doesnt know.... sometimes its act snobby and jealous.

You might consider asking yourself if there are any manerisms of yours that incite snobbery or jealousy. Do you act like his relationship with his family is invalid, or should be mistreated?
