I have been with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years. I am his first girlfriend and he is my first boyfriend; I have never been with any other guy. I never really enjoyed having sex with him by some reason, but I was ok with doing it when he wanted to. Recently I found that I don't even want to do it anymore. Whenever we are doing it, I just hope that he can finish as soon as possible. (and he unkowning obliges) Do you girls always enjoy sex? Do I have some kind of medical problem? something like "sex doesn't hurt but just not enjoyable?"

It seems like I'm constantly telling him to speak softer. It's borderline yelling and he doesn't realize how loud he's speaking until someone tells him. Could he have a hearing problem? He'll be in the second grade this fall and does well in school.

Ok, so here's the deal. My girlfriend and i were together for 7.5 years...since we were 16. Neither of us ever had a real relationship with anyone else. After about 7.5 years we started fighting and bickering about everything...and we would also fight about mistakes that we both made in the past. This led to us taking a "break"...planning on eventually getting back together. The problem was me, i never gave her our time apart...i kept pushing(always wanting to hang out, asking her where she's been and who she was with). I guess i was like this because i was scared that she would find someone else. But anyway, we started our break about 3 months ago, and i have been pushing pretty hard the whole time, and now i think i completely screwed things up. She's kind of seeing a new guy, and im afraid she's gonna completely forget about me and we'll never be back together. If i dont call/ text/ bother her(stop pushing so hard) will this make her miss me and want to be back together?? HELP!!!!!

I am newly divorced, have two small kids which bothers most men I hear about. I want to start dating again, have no idea how to start it again. I am 41 going on 42 and no spring chicken. I don't want to bring any weirdos into my childrens life, most men my age want a 20 something sex toy around or one night stands, which rules me out as I am on parenting duty almost always. The teenage son wants to stay with them for the school year. He is 14 years old, his mom lives in N. Carolina. When he is in North Carolina, he lives with his stepdad who is separated from his mom. He sees his mom on weekends.
We are in California, how can my friend get a temporary order so he doesn't have to return before the hearing? How can they get a hearing? Are they going to have to pay for a lawyer? He has been here 4 weeks, and Mom agreed to a visitation even though it was not in the court order. He will be here 6 weeks in August before he leaves.

The situation is simple. He has a gf and i have a trouble Long Dist relationship. I told him everything and he gives me all the advice. Because i see him everyday and talk all the time, i slowly have feelings for this person. Yesteraday, it just came out of my mouth and he now calls me when he is avaliable. I feel like I am caught in a quandary that has pretty much immobilized me and prevented me from moving on with my life.

I have been extremely angry with a person for some hurtful things he said and did shortly after the death of someone important to both of us several years ago. Other people involved in the situation agree that this person was wrong, even cruel. At the time I tried to make amends, but this person's attitude made that impossible. Eventually I stopped communicating with him because I just couldn't deal with him and needed to focus on myself.

However, distancing myself did not bring peace. Instead, I have found myself struggling with a sense of guilt and shame over the collapse of our relationship. I have almost irrational feelings that I should be a better person, that I am the bad person in this situation, that I don't deserve to enjoy life or be happy. Mind you, people who know me would be surprised to hear this as I keep it to myself. I am able to make it through the day at work and enjoy time with friends, but the instant I go through my front door I feel the weight of the world crushing down on me.

Much of the problem is that this person is a narcissist. True reconciliation would be impossible because there is no such thing as a two-way street in his mind. If I were to tell him I forgave him, he would act like he didn't know what I was talking about. After all, he could never admit to himself, let alone anyone else, that he had ever done anything wrong. Likewise, he would never forgive another person because that would mean admitting the other person actually affected him.

Another part of the problem is that this person is getting on in years and is ill. From all reports, his illness has not changed his personality or attitude. If anything, it has made him worse. Nevertheless, I dread thinking about how I would feel if I didn't forgive him before he died.

How do I go about forgiving this person and relieving myself of this burden when, every time I think about it, I become so angry? Is forgiveness a thing of the heart? Or must I tell him I forgive him in order to truly forgive him?
