Been with boyfriend for 8 years. Had first baby in Feb this year. Both been married before. Is it just a piece of paper after all. Neither of us religious. Get married for the childs sake?

A week ago I spent an hour talking with my wife on the phone. There was alittle arguing but not much. She had said that she was thinking and that it was wrong of her to leave our marriage and family. She left on March 3rd with our son that was 7 months old at the time and moved into her fathers house. She has filed for a divorce since then. Our problems were never that bad for this to happen. At the time of her leaving I was making career change to provide a better life for my family and we had agreed about that.

Why would she say now that she made a mistake leaving and why hasn't she done anything to show she wants to reconcile? What should I do?

I used to think that he really loved me and cared but, when we would have arguements he would say really hurtful things. He had nothing untill I came into the picture and then he had a car, a house, money, and someone who really loved him. He made me feel as if the only reason he kept me around was because I gave him everything but, other times I felt he really cared. Which one is it?

Me and another single male friend of mine decided to do a test. For two weeks we would go out to clubs to pick up women and we would act like gentleman, very nice, romantic, affectionate, etc etc. After those two weeks, we then went out to clubs acting like complete jerks, arrogant, cocky, insulting to women (no physical abuse) and we picked up 3 times more women during the two weeks we acted like jerks. The two weeks we we acted like gentlemen we got very few responses. And this is all kinds of women, single, married etc. Married women especially responded to our "jerk" attitudes. So what is the deal ladies?

I treat woman equally like man as a fully human being . I am very polite and nice . But , I see that no waman feel interested to me . On the other hand I know some man who treats women badly . These man said to me that the consider women only as a sexual machine . They are dominant and jerk , aggresive . But lots of women feel attraction towards them . They have sex with lots of woman. But I never found oppertunity to sex and affair. This is why I consider to change my personality to dominant and aggersive to woman . I decided to treat women babdly . What is your coment ?
