I need yahoo Communities HELP. This is a special case. His wife and the other girl are equally willing to accept him as their husband. This case if from INDIA. Any body know anyone having 2 wifes. I would like to get a suggession from such people and those who know such cases. Is their any legal problem. If so how can I resolve it. I need a clear suggession.

I have no idea what the laws are in India but in North America, it is illegal to be married to more than one person at a time.
There are lots of issues regarding support of the families and children. How will they be provided for? Who will educate the children? What will the status of the second family be? How will the children be taken care of in the event of the death of the father?
This doesn't even cover the moral questions and how society will view the other family.

Read this site for 20 minutes and you'll see that the vast majority of men find it almost impossible to have a good relationship with one wife so why on earth would anyone want two?

I do not think much of that at all. There is no love in that kind of marriage. The wife and other girl are fools. The guy is just looking for a good time with whatever IT IS!.

What is the value to a woman of knowing she will always be number 2 in her husband's heart? I think a woman would prefer to be esteemed and "put on a pedestal" instead become part of a collection.

I am a little bit confused by your posting....are you trying to enter into a relationship that that the woman is already married and you want to marry her also? Generally, whether Muslim or any other religion I have known or heard of would never accept that premise.
Legal problems would abound depending on who married whom and when. If she, the other woman you wnat to marry is 2nd to her husband, then you would need permission from him to marry her...however, I doubt he would approve it.
