i think the best time is during a quiet peaceful moment, during your down time. reading or watching TV. make sure you all are totally alone ,take a deep breath tell her how you feel about her and the relationship, and then just ask her.she will love the surprise . but yeah i would definitely do it soon.way before the holidays

My hubby & I had talked about it too, and I was always wondering when we went out if that would be the time he was actually gonna propose,BUT, he took me completely off guard when he did. We went to the beach that day for a picnic, and we were getting ready to eat, and while he was helping me take the stuff out of the picnic basket, he said Hey Kel, would you marry me?? As he pulled out a diamond!!!!! He was sooo romantic! (still is)

We got married in September!

the fact that you at your age is even asking this question to a bunch of strangers is further indication that you have doubts. is this a convenient relationship or a guilty one? what do you think this lady prefers? don't you know her well enough to determine this answer yourself?
