When I was younger I used to wonder why people live together and do not marry first.

There is a vast majority of people who are on fixed incomes that dont marry but are companions. Either they are on SSI, Welfare,and if they married theier benefits would decrease
and if the elderly married thier companion after thier spouse died they would lose thier benenfits of the prior marriage 401K, life insurance, social security and retirment money.

Either they live together or go on trips together or both, I asked a family member about this and she said if the couple goes to church and join hands and say thier vows quitely before God and if they are faithful and true God would honor a spiritual marraige even though it may not be written on legal paper by the state.

Does the commitment differ in your 20s than it is when you are older or elderly?

These people need love and encouragement as well. I think people judge a lot harder than God does.

My boyfriend of 2 1/2 years made me move out to see if we can sort things out because we would argue too much. He hasn't treated me the best, but I still love him. I don't know if he will ever change. He only wants to be with me when it's convenient for him. Then there is this other guy that I've been friends with for a few years who is like in love with me. He is the nicest guy I've ever met and would do anything for me and is always there when I need him. I'm still involved with my other boyfriend who doesn't seem to want to give me up even though he made me move out though. I still love him, which makes it weird for me to be hanging out with this other guy. I feel stuck in a rut and I don't know what to do. Here I have this perfect guy that really wants to be with me, but I don't quite have those feelings like I still have for my boyfriend. I'm so confused. What should I do?

i like one of my guy friends. the only problem is when i brought up the issue with him he told me that i have issues to work on and he can only be friends with me. but then i find out that he likes my gf (Yes i'm bi) i told him it was cool. but when he calls he wants to talk about sex and stuff with me. i don't get it why is he being like this. he says he is not ready for a relationship yet he tells me how he wants to be with my girl. i just don't get it. that is what most guys are like they will be friends with me but go eye boggling goga over my girl. i guess i will never find the guy who can truly like me for me and respect my standards. any imput on this would be great.

I met a boy which is a good friend of my family's at a party they were throwing for my birthday.I have known him since for about 2 years.We are not actually together but he always comes on to (he didnt at first we would wrestle and he would always let me bet him) and i always pushed him away but he doesnt get mad are anything we just talk about it. when he came on to me he never tried to kiss me but he's tried everything else....but why not try a kiss? I have a friend. and her name is caitlin. she seriously wants a nickname. Personally, I think that her name is fine right now, but nothing I say will convince her. wut do you think. ok me and my husband has being married for almost 9 yrs in nov and we have two kids , but he is self employed painter and he works out of town all the time me and the kids stay here all by ourself what my husband come over like ever 15 days b/c he got his house where he works , what me and him have not live together for almost 3 yrs now , and i want to live with him but he said he like living separte for now , but he do take good care of me and the kids , he pays all the bills and buy the food here . but i want to live with him so i can see him more , what should i do stay or left him please help
