Tell me why do teenagers know everything and....?

why do the girls dress so inappropriately? How can parent/s allow such attitude?

i know what you mean. I'm 18 and it's so sad to see my peers acting like this. It's also hard to be the minority. We know that girls dress in these ways because they are trying to attract attention. Obviously their not getting love and acceptance at home so their looking for it in the wrong places. Many girls don't have fathers that are at home...and many of them aren't getting love from their fathers. You see until a girl gets married, she has or should have the protection of her father. Well the sad thing is, most girls don't have that. So that would explain why their in the arms of guy after guy and because the guys have sex on their minds they usualy can get the girls to give in and since the girls are so desperate for love..they give in. They just want love.
As far as dressing the way they do..well it's in and everyone else is doing it and since most of the clothes they are wearing are sugestive...they wear them..why? because they want attention. The reason the parents are allowing it and not doing anything about it is because their so consumed with their lives and their love life that they couldn't care less. Or their consumed with their careers. There's not parenting anymore. Parents just give kids all they want becuase that will make them happy and shut them up. Thats why so many young people are doing drugs, drinking, girls are getting pregnant...because the parents aren't involved in their lives. Sorry this is so long...but i hope it helped.

The girls dress inappropriately because they are unaware on the effect it has on others. Most of the time they do not realize how visually stimulated guys are.

We think we know everything because we are in a stage in our life where we are rapidly gaining independence and moving away from the norm. We are becoming increasingly aware of our options...some safe, some not. Therefore we feel a need to explore this new freedom of choice. We may reach into the fire, but most likely we will not get burned again after that time.

This part is just speculation...but I think that partents allow this attitude because they
a) are unable to control it
b) don't want to make us mad. They want us to love them, something most of us are unable/unwilling to see.

But even though we may be ignorant, foolish, smart-alecky and young, I love being a teenager and I wouldn't trade it for anything. We'll figure things out someday. It just might take a little bit longer than others expect.

Being a teenage gurl myself i know what its like. Most us of want to be recongnized by boys.And that's the only way we can get there attention and actually SEE that they like it. cause if a guy no i mean BOY likes me cuz im smart there's no way i'll know cuz he's not going to tell me.So it's just easier to do it another way than being ourselfs.And it doesnt mean were ho'es we just want to feel special. Most parents dont allow there kinds such things most of us borrow the stuff from older friends and if parents do let them were it its because one they dont care two they want to be there child's best friend(so not possible) and three there too scared or tired to put up a fight.

teens don't know everything. Nobody knows everything in the world. Perhaps their seeming inappropriate way of dressing isn't so inappropriate afterall. Everyone has a differnt view, as to what is. But that's the way it is, with fashion. I once saw a lady wearing a black dress, that looked revealing.

it all revolves around buying power.
my generation -the one you speak of- has more money to spend and buying power of any generation before us.
this allows retailers to focus on soley selling to teenagers, and therefore a broader market of clothes and fashions has become available to teenagers.

how can parents all such attitudes?
they pretty much want their kids to be happy, as all parental generations do, and allow their daughters to dress like HOEZ if they wish to.

teenagers know everything b/c of the influence aroiund them girls are usually experiencing w/ fashion i use to dress inapporiatly but i know now that i can dress appropriately and look good. parents cant really do anything about the teens and their attitude they have to learn from their own mistakes they make their own not the same one the parents make although it may be similiar

I am a teenager and don't dress inappropriately. I am Apostolic and feel bad for all the girls that dress that way, cause obviously they don't have self esteem and self respect. It's sad.

I'll tell you the same thing I told my daughter when she was 16 and knew it all. "Fine, then you better go now while you still have all the answers. We''ll be here when you come back." She came back less than 24 hours later when she realized slinging fries at the local fast food joint wasn't gonna pay for her gas to get there or a place to live.

because their parents either dont care, or either their parents didnt have the proper bringing up to know how not to let their children dress. now i was brought up in a good home and i know i wasnt allowed to wear midriffs and hoochie mama clothes so if i were to have a girl of course i wouldnt let her. the way you dress speaks for itself
