So, I'm male, 25, and she's 17, female. She is my best freind's wife's cousin. We get along so great. She all I've looked for in a woman: smoke/drink free, nice, funny, confident, loves my music, sporty, etc. The only problem is that she's 17. She's okay with it, and I'm morally okay with it. My worries are what others will think, mainly the church crowd that I typically spend my time with. Even her parents are okay with it. Or they were, until they talked with some of their freinds and said they were crazy and that it was illegal. And by the way, is it illegal? I think not. I looked it up online. In Indiana, the age of consent is 16, plus it pertains only to sexual conduct, which does not apply. At least not yet. We kissed so far, that's all. I certainly don't look at her as 17 or a child. As far as I'm concerned, she's a peer. I understand why laws are in place, but I refuse to consider myself a sexual predator. We have a connection, you know? Thanks for opinions.

I have been married to a wonderful man for 5 years now, and have a 14 year who becomes disrespectful towards him on ocassions, he's raised her since she was 7, but will not tolerate the disrespect, its more of talking back to him, or her telling him what she's not gonna do, and thats not happening, I'm in the middle of all this, they will go so far as not even saying a thing to one another and we live in the same house. He loves her and will do anything for her, but until she shows some more respect he's gonna keep him distance from her.

my boyfriend dumped me because hes moving away (3 provinces over) and hes working so frequently he rarely gets to see me. opur relationship was fine till he finly found out hes moving soon, and hes so busy he dosnt see me. does he still love me? will i get him back? last time he moves 5 provinces over he moved back after talking every night and and racking upo a phone bill and we got together again...will history repeat himself/...are we ment to be toghether? i love him so much.

I have an 11 year old step daughter and Ive noticed over the months, she has become very snappy, very mean, and when I tell her no for something she gives me a real attitude, she also told her real mom she didnt like me and Ive been in her life for 4 years, the only time she acts sweet to me is when she wants me to spend money on her and the truth is I shouldnt have to do that, Could this be a sign of puberty cause her mom has been having problems with her also, what should I do?? I got engaged this May. I knew my fiance' for15 months. We had our ups & downs.I thought he was insenstive & I reacted 2 everything he said.Sometimes I got upset & angry.So he kept going back & forth.Many times he tried 2 break up with me 4 dumb reasons. So I told mom & sis about my relationship. She knows I hacked into his email, I snooped his computer & tryed to read an email he wrote 2 a girl this March but couldn't read it & also suspected him of the person who stole our Identity when my mom & I became a victim of Identity theft.. My sis recomended a Dr. Phil book & I read it & changed my attitude towards him. Now he treats me with respect. Now I love him alot but he loved me from da start. I told sis my best friend will b my maid of honor & she'll b brides maid. She's mad about that. I fear sis will tell him everything when she meets him 4 da 1st time. Mom said I shouldn't have told her everything because she's known 4 badmouthing me. I regret everything because I love him.

There is this guy at my school. He can't stop talking to other people about me. It doesn't matter if it is his friends or even the most popular girls at my school, he can't stop talking or thinking about me. I used to like him. I mean we are friends. I met a guy online 4 years ago and I moved 1200 miles to be with him. I am 39, he's 36 and when we met, he was living with his parent's and had no job. When I moved, he said he would find work and help out. Over the course of the 4 years, he has worked 2 months, but he has also been sidelined with some medical issues. I have tried to be loving and supportive, and eventually we split and he moved back home with his folks, and I work and still live in the same area. We have started dating again, but he still hasn't made much of an attempt to find work. It's a sore subject with him when I bring it up. I do love him as we do have a history together. My family feels he's lazy and verbally abusive, and feel I deserve better.His parent's don't encourage him to find work, and he is not on disablity, so his family is suporting him. He wants to be the man of the house, but it's hard to sometimes overlook the fact he doesn't contribute. I do love him, but should I stay or move on?
